“Very disappointed, out of the first box of 10 only 2 would cut and some of the others were bent. I haven't opened the others yet as I'm considering returning the lot”

“The service was good, but I can't recommend the drill bits we received. 28mm x 800mm. They have a 28mm head, but the shaft is much, much thinner at around 20-22mm. It's an 800mm long drillbit, there's no way it's going to clear the waste out of a hole thats more than about 1-200mm deep, there's too much room around the flutes for the waste to get jammed into. The drills have been binned before they get jammed in a hole and make a 5 minuted job a whole days work.”

“Whilst the drill bits came.on time both the TCT 6mm bits broke in less than a minute. The tips cracked into pieces before making it through more than a few mm of stainless steel. In contrast the 5% Cobalt Bosch bits had no issues. The forstner bit was fine.”

“Ordered loads of drill bits online and I might as well gone through with a bar of chocolate soon as you apply just a bit of pressure the drill bit was bending and snapping straight away very poor and never will I buy again”

“I received an 8mm tct drill bit form them last week. It was something i thought would last practically forever. I was drilling a hole into 4mm mild steel. It lasted all of 3 seconds!! The tip just shattered. Such a dissappointment after spending £8 on it. I enclose photos.”

“The 0.5mm jobber drills would not drill silver steel. Other brands using the same equipment and technique drilled satisfactory holes.”

Customer order HSS ground drill bits. For stainless we would have recommended our Cobalt range of drill bits.

“These appear to be good value However in use on Pressure Treated 80 cm softwood they proved useless. The cutting edge is not a high enough quality I abandened using these low cost forstener drill bits”

“The old adage of you get what you pay for apply here. I made the mistake of buying of buying economy drill sets and wished I hadn’t. I have used two of the drills and both of them broke immediately. Lesson learnt”

“Well I wasn't expecting much, given the price, and I didn't get much either. Drilling concrete to a depth of 300mm the shaft snapped. You get what you pay for I suppose.”

“Excessively brittle, obviously fully hardened without a tempered shank. The consequence of this us that they break rather easily. Some seem to be distorted and exhibit run-out. Not very impressed.”
