Ordered loads of drill bits online and I might as well gone through with a bar of chocolate soon as you apply just a bit of pressure the drill bit was bending and snapping straight away very poor and never will I buy again

I received an 8mm tct drill bit form them last week. It was something i thought would last practically forever. I was drilling a hole into 4mm mild steel. It lasted all of 3 seconds!! The tip just shattered. Such a dissappointment after spending £8 on it. I enclose photos.

The 0.5mm jobber drills would not drill silver steel. Other brands using the same equipment and technique drilled satisfactory holes.

The drills I bought were advertised as able to drill into granite, but they just buned out in a matter of seconds and were totally useless.

advised as stainless HSS drill bits. Do not touch the sides. Worst drill bits I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing.

Customer order HSS ground drill bits. For stainless we would have recommended our Cobalt range of drill bits.

The drills purchased were allegedly Cobalt but went dull even on soft metal... Worst kind of Cobalt ever it seems...

These appear to be good value However in use on Pressure Treated 80 cm softwood they proved useless. The cutting edge is not a high enough quality I abandened using these low cost forstener drill bits

The old adage of you get what you pay for apply here. I made the mistake of buying of buying economy drill sets and wished I hadn’t. I have used two of the drills and both of them broke immediately. Lesson learnt

Poor quality drills, went back to screwfix erauber as they seemed to last a lot longer for a fraction of the price

Well I wasn't expecting much, given the price, and I didn't get much either. Drilling concrete to a depth of 300mm the shaft snapped. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Excessively brittle, obviously fully hardened without a tempered shank. The consequence of this us that they break rather easily. Some seem to be distorted and exhibit run-out. Not very impressed.

Service good, the product bought though are absolutely shockingly bad drill bits

All the drills were smaller in size by around 0.1mm which doesn’t sound much but a 0.5 becomes 0.4 and so on with the other sizes. They were also all blunt not making any impression on steel or brass. When I reported this to uk drills they refunded my money.

These drill bits are shocking you can drill a couple of holes before they go blunt

Dreadful, we bought 50 drill bits for drilling into brick most failed after 10-15 drills

We have a job which required 800 number 22dia holes drilled 200mm into unreinforced concrete we purchased 5 drills from yourselves for this task the first drill did 31 holes and broke, the second drill did 36 holes and broke, your drills are slow drilling and do not clear the dust from the hole efficiently. My team have resorted to using two older hilti drills which have now drilled in excess of 500 holes on this job and are still going strong. So my review of your product is that I am disapointed. Whilst I appreciate that your drills are significantly cheaper, Hilti although expensive do appear to be a better option in the long term and in speed of production. Bob Grant
