“Service was as one should expect but sadly the product I bought didn't clear the oil stains from tarmac as promoted. Not the shops fault, just a bum product.”

“Got some Tavec 201, why have you started putting bags inside the tub, I lose about a quarter of the material with this new method, last time I bought Tavec it was in a plastic tub with no internal bag and I got 100% of the product.”

Hi Stevie, Thanks you for your comments. We have passed these on to the manufacturer and they have advised that the inner bag is a new design which was created to help tackle the issue of leaking and damaged tubs upon transit. Whereas before if the plastic tub took a knock the contents could spill out causing the transit of the item to cease. Now if the tub gets damaged, the contents inside will not leak out and can be delivered intact. They have also made the following suggestion with regards to removing the Tavec 201 from the bag: Lift the entire bag up, carefully slice the bottom with a sharp knife over the original tub, a small slice will suffice. Wait for the majority of contents to pour into the tub, then from the top, tightly squeeze the bag downwards. The bags are thin and will express the vast majority of the remaining contents. “Superb company to trade with. Professional paint at affordable prices. I used Teknos paint on furniture I make. Teknos paint is the best furniture paint I have found in 30 years. It may not be the cheapest but it's usability and durability is fantastic. Thankyou Promain for supplying such a high quality product.”

“Paint was great . Reasonable price . But delivery price was terribly expensive, To my post code although I am in the Scottish highlands . But still on the British mainland . Hence only the 3 stars”

Unfortunately as the product you purchased is classed as a hazardous substance, this affects how it is despatched, as it needs to go via a courier with approvals to carry that particular hazardous code. This can sometimes affect the overall delivery costs, however, you will be notified of the delivery charge before completing your order.
