Very disappointed. Was not informed the material was out of stock when ordering. Then we were promised delivery on several different accounts. One member of Promain gave us a guarantee, whereas another member noted that Promain do not offer any guarantee on delivery. Our site project was delayed and as such, costs incurred to try and rectify, as well as damage to reputation on delay of the works. We will be proposing alternative products going forward or advising Clients that they need to order material direct if possible.

We truly appreciate your valuable input, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve our services. We sincerely apologise for the issues you encountered with the out of stock material and the conflicting information about delivery guarantees. Whilst the majority of orders despatched from our warehouse are despatched the same day and delivered the following working day, there are occasions when a product may be temporarily out of stock due to an increase in demand. Should this happen, we do have a highly trained Technical Team who are able to discuss possible alternatives to help minimise any delays to your project. We are sorry if this was not your experience, and we will take the necessary steps to address this within the company. Whilst we also take every possible action to ensure the majority of orders are delivered the next working day, we do rely on the courier, and on occasion there may be a delay due to unforeseen circumstances, however, we understand that communication is key in such instances. It is always our goal to ensure clear and consistent communication with our clients, and we do apologise if we fell short of our usual high standards on this occasion. Once again, we would like to thank you for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to rectify the situation and provide you with a better experience in the future.

Hi Stephen, thank you for leaving a review. I am sorry to hear that your parcel has not arrived. We have investigated this with FedEx for you, and have been advised that delivery attempts had been made but unfortunately no-one was available to take the delivery. This has therefore been returned to the local FedEx depot. I understand that a member of our sales team has tried to contact you today and has also emailed you to apologise for the delay and to re-arrange the delivery with you. We have also refunded your delivery charge and raised an official complaint with FedEx on your behalf. Once again we do apologise for this delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. I have looked into this for you, and unfortunately it appears that the manufacturer themselves were actually out of stock of this item, and we were therefore regrettably, unable to supply the specified colour. I understand from our Sales Team that we were able to contact you to advise you of this and have provided a full refund, however, we do understand the frustration and impact that delays can have, and we do apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Hi Kev, Thank you for your review. We take all reviews seriously, good or bad, and so I have looked into this for you as that delivery time does not seem to meet our usual standards. I can see that unfortunately part of your order was damaged in transit and a member of the Sales Team contacted you to inform you of this, and did offer to send the undamaged tin straight away with the replacement tins to follow asap however, I understand that you wanted to wait and receive all 3 tins together, which we do understand. I am sorry that your order was damaged during transit and that this caused a delay to your schedule. We will of course take this up with the courier as well as we do understand that delays can have a knock on effect. We hope that we will be able to assist you again in the future.

Hi Francois, we are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your purchase. The purpose of this product is to draw all of the salt out from the substrate, therefore it can initially look worse as all of the salt is brought to the surface. It is important to continue applying the Salt Neutraliser until all of the salt has been drawn out. We have also raised your concerns with the manufacturer and they have advised that they will be happy to visit you on site and demonstrate the correct method of application to help resolve the issue. I am looking for PINK. You are showing me creams, greens and browns. Are you colour blind? The pinks you do have are oh so safe, just in case anyone should be scared to actually have real PINK on their walls. I do not need protecting from my choice. So you can keep your weird idea of what PINK is.

Hi Helen Depending on the product we can tint some paints to over 30 THOUSAND colours! If you would like something specific we can probably do it for you. Personally, I am totally against anything 'magnolia' so I am totally on your side! If you want pink we will do our best to give you the pinkest pink that has ever pinked! Sadly the product simply did not work. Followed instructions as to the mix proportions of the product with water and sprayed onto the affected walls. Hosed down after some 25 minutes but no effect. In fact the efflorvescence had expanded and was/is now rock hard. Nothing will remove it. Worse than before treatment.

Why advertising products you can't supply. There's no technical reason for not saying that the product is out of stock, not doing it makes people waste their time, especially when you can't even provide a date when it's going to be available. It is really annoying, nobody seems to be holding stock of anything and in some case they don't have a feed from whoever holds the stock. Either sell what you have in stock or get a feed from your supplier so you can tell your customer if a product is available or not.

Unfortunately with the lack of raw materials and the coronavirus pandemic there has been a lot of pressure on manufacturers and the production of paint in 2021. We will look into our processes with how stock is managed and find a solution to prevent any further discrepancies. The representative at Promain was superb but their courier awful. Failed to deliver three days running even though both I and Promain phoned them to solve any issues they had with delivery. The worst point was fed-ex ringing me to say they were redelivering on a sat and that I had to be in all day.....I was but then found out later they had never even booked it back on the system. Promain promptly returned my payment. That Sun I ordered paint from another company, it arrived Tues morn prompt.
