I did send an email (using the contact form on Promain's website), but no response. This message was to detail both the poor delivery service Promain employed - no effort made to alert us to the delivery - I'd left a clear note on the door to say "Delivery for Simon Moffitt please ring Flat 3 bell and we'll come down immediately" and the bell wasn't rung, the paint was just left on the doorstep. This was over £300 of paint just left on the doorstep of a busy thoroughfare! Luckily my work colleague went out later in the day to fetch some coffee, and came across it. Not only that, but one of the tins was so badly dented, I was surprised the tin held and the paint didn't leak out. All of my other experiences with Promain have been positive ones, especially their technical help people, who go out of their way to offer sound advice. So, this came as a surprise, particularly the lack of response to my original email, detailing the issues.

Order was lost because Promain input the wrong address which I had to personally recover. Lee was very helpful and apologetic but there’s no excuse really. Based on this experience I honestly couldn’t recommend them.

Hi Keith, Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear that your order was delivered to the invoice address rather than the delivery one. We do sincerely apologise for this error. You may be aware that we have recently changed ownership and are now a part of Brewers. Following this exciting move, we have been migrating over to a new system, and this has unfortunately caused a few unexpected delays and hiccups over the last 2 weeks whilst the systems were integrated. However, we are now fully integrated with the Brewers system and believe that we are now back to full strength! Once again, please accept our apologies for this error, we appreciate your understanding and hope that we will have the opportunity to assist you again in the future :)

Was not informed at point of order that this was not a stock item but a special order. Delivery service from FedEx was very poor. It was not clear that a signature would be required and had conflicting information from two live chats. Eventually had items delivered to site address and when goods arrived the driver did not even request a signature. An all round frustrating experience.

On March 4th, I placed an order for Skyscraper replacement blades, which were advertised as in stock on your website. The following day, I was contacted and told the item was unavailable! I requested a refund on March 5th, but as of today, March 16th, I have not received it. 😡

Very disappointed with my wire brush attachment (short wire) It lasted 3 uses now is pretty much usless, down to 2/3rds of Brissels now..

Poor customer support. Bad communication. It is simply unbelievable that you are lacking basic steps in product delivery. 1. No shipping confirmation email. 2. Customer support have no adequate information regarding shipping and delivery 3. At the end nobody replied to the third attempt to find out tracking number and if package was shipped at all. 4. At the end when i have reported transaction to PayPal you have provided me tracking number. Even you have delivered it after 4 days which is great I got this package on November 2nd (after 12 days). So In general you have good delivery very but very bad communication with customers.

Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. As discussed, your order was despatched directly from the manufacturer. Rust-Oleum have confirmed the delay was due to a courier error. Replacement goods were sent and signed for 02/12/19. If you need any help please let the team at Promain know.

THE PRODUCTS ARE EXCELLENT AND THE SPEED OF DELIVERY > BUT THE DELIVERY CHARGES > ARE NOT SUSTAINABLE >TO CHARGE £25+vat FOR A DELIVERY TO DEVON IS FAR TOO EXPENSIVE > AS THE COMPETITION ONLY CHARGE £ 5.99 REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT GEORGE KOZLOWSKI

Hi Mr Kozlowski, Unfortunately the £25+vat delivery charge is what we are charged from Mapei the supplier as the product comes from them direct. As we distribute hazardous goods (paint) sometimes the delivery cost can be much higher than standard everyday goods. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. The Team at Promain.co.uk

After calling Promain’s technical helpline I was recommended Combi color by one of their staff. I was after a smooth surface finish and fast drying time. Upon using the product it unfortunately didn’t live up to either of these expectations. I emailed in to ask for further advice and support, only to be ignored.

Paint is good quality stuff but the Centrecoat Line Marking Machine I purchased is totally useless not fit for purpose. It does not work as it should.
