“Technical,department answered the phone quickly and delivery happened as promised. Slightly worried that the tech dept said I could paint over the original paint without and reaction, but the data on the tin said a second coat must be applied relatively quickly”

“Order took more than a week to arrive after giving the impression it was next day When it did arrive both tins were badly damaged”

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with Promain UK Limited. We were concerned to hear that your order took over a week for delivery and have therefore looked into this for you and have found that your order was placed on the afternoon of 27th August and was delivered and signed for on 30th August. Whilst we agree this was slightly delayed (standard delivery time on our web site for this manufacturer indicates 1-2 working days), it appears that this order took 3 days to be delivered, rather than over a week as you have stated. If you disagree with our findings, please contact us and we will be more than happy to take this investigation further with the courier company. We were also disappointed to hear that the tins arrived damaged. Unfortunately we have no record of being notified of this, and regret that we were therefore not given the opportunity to resolve this for you. We do hope that you have been able to complete your project and that we have also been able to reassure you that we take customer service very seriously. As mentioned earlier, should you still have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you further.

“I spoke to Tony for some advice and he was super helpful, professional and polite. A few minutes later, he called back unexpectedly to tell me that a particular barn paint finish was not available having previously told me he thought it was, that's what I call customer service, absolutely first class. It's the second or third time we have used Promain UK - I think they offer world class painting solutions at a competitive price, but for me, the level of product knowledge is worth every penny.”

“The paint is excellent and arrived well packaged and safely. The only issue we had is the delivery which took over 5 days to arrive although we paid a premium courier charge. On phoning we were told that the product had to be ordered in and wasn’t in stock as indicated on the website. We weren’t kept informed of this. Great paint when it arrives.”
