“Wrong colour paint delivered. One and a half days wages lost while I waited for the correct paint to be sent out. Had to extend tower hire. Just under £400 out of pocket because nobody thought to check the correct colour had been mixed. No apology and only offered refund of delivery (£15) which is insulting. If I could get this paint anywhere else then I would.”

Hi John, We’re very sorry to read your review and for the disruption this caused to your project. As soon as the issue was raised, we arranged for a replacement to be mixed and dispatched the same day to minimise any delay. We also issued an apology at the time, although we’re sorry if this did not come across as clearly as it should have. We completely understand how frustrating and costly this situation has been, especially with the impact on your time and equipment hire. While we did offer a refund of the delivery charge immediately, we appreciate that this did not fully reflect the inconvenience caused. “My wife ordered a 20 litre can of bedec barn paint from Promain. Whoever delivered the can simply dumped it on our doorstep and scarpered, we assume because the can is all bent out of shape and it’s obvious no customer in their right mind would accept it. We haven’t opened it as we’re sure we will not be able to get the lid back on. We’re expecting a replacement and the damaged can to be collected.”

Unfortunately, once an order leaves our premises, delivery is handled by third-party couriers, and we don’t have direct control over how parcels are handled in transit. That said, the condition your item arrived in is certainly not acceptable, and we completely understand your frustration.
