“Not tried it yet, still trying to put the sprayer that I ordered with it together ! But I'm optimistic, it looks simple enough to use, and safe, as I have a dog,so looking forward to using it. All arrived quickly and well packed. Impressed so far !”

“So far after just four day the mares tails are looking un-well and turning black already. I can now see which ones I've missed so need to give them a spray when it's calm. Looking good so far.”

“I bought Kurtail Gold. I have sprayed the marestail once with a double strength treatment and it seems to be working. But boy, it is eyewateringly expensive. Delivery is swift but again you pay over the odds for it.”

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear the delivery arrived with you swiftly. With regard to the delivery charge, we have to abide by regulations for transport of products of this type. Due to the nature of the product you ordered - it is delivered using a registered ADR courier and it cannot be carried by Royal Mail or other non ADR courier firms. Unfortunately the charges for regulated ADR carriers are higher.

“Bought on behalf of my Mother-in-Law who is a keen gardener. She has a problem with stubborn horsetail and this is the only product that seems to do the trick. It doesn't eradicate it completely as over time it regrows but best found on the market.”

“Troubled with Slender Speedwell and needed a specialist weedkiller, hence searched the Progreen products. Bought Polax. Arrived quickly (though an expensive product) and I applied with hand spray as per instructions. I must admit I thought the weed would just curl up and die in a few days but it didn't, although I suspect it did the job as the weed stopped and started to turn yellow after a week . In the end I pulled all the weed out that had been treated by hand after about a week. I did get some spots of burn to the grass around the weed, this may have been the poor condition of the grass itself. Obviously a powerful weed killer, treat carefully. I want to reseed the patches where the weed has been removed but will have to wait at least 4 weeks, so slightly disappointed with the wait. Overall it seems the only solution for Slender Speedwell that has had any effect.”

We're happy that you received the result on speedwell as it is a tough weed to control and Polax is one of the few to treat it. As with all pesticides the maximum dose rates should not be exceeded but it's more likely the grass yellowed due to stress and will recover with some TLC. Try liquid seaweed+ to replenish nutrients and improve grass health. If you would like to speak to us about this please do not hesitate to contact us.
