We are sorry to hear you feel this way, however, as your order had to be palletised it did incur a delivery charge. Although we do offer free delivery on a lot of our orders there are some exceptions. I have listed below a section of our terms and conditions which shows our free delivery exclusions.

“i was told a price on the phone but when I went there to pick the items up the price had gone up but was told that the person had got the prices wrong ?”
“The Website was easy to navigate which is always a great start. They’ve got a great choice of products, and once I had chosen mine (for next day delivery) I was kept informed of when it would arrive to within a 2 hour slot which was very helpful!
My only complaint would be that the actual product was damaged when it arrived, this didn’t stop me using it but was very dissatisfying as I had paid a lot for it.”

“Tile cutter turned up ok but when we unpacked and assembled we had been supplied the wrong size blade. 30mm centre should be 24.5mm. rang customer services for some reason they could not understand the difference between the two sizes, gave up and bought another blade.

Within this bag, there should be supplied a 'bore reducing ring' that can be used with the blade to make it fit the required size.

I've double-checked your order with our team and can confirm that you placed the order at 14:10, which was past the cut off for next day delivery on this specific item - which you were notified about on the product page, and again when adding to the basket. The following notification was clearly displayed:
"This item is sent direct from the manufacturer, please contact us to check availability. Please note their cut off time is 12:00. Please allow at least 3 working day(s) for delivery. If you would like more information please contact us on sales@protilertools.co.uk or 01604859800."
Therefore "Next Day" delivery for this item would have been two days after the day you ordered, which is when you say you received the item.

Unfortunately, this is out of our control, as the length of the item you ordered is 2.5m long, which means it has to be sent via a commercial freight company, rather than a courier. All our orders are sent using couriers (in this instance via DPD), rather than Royal Mail, as we have found this to be a more reliable delivery method.
