“I placed my order by telephone which proved very easy with the help of the Power Bug member of staff. The email of my statement arrived the same day and this was followed the next day with an email informing my goods had been shipped. The goods arrived two days after the the order was placed. I thought the Power Bug service was very good. Unfortunately the courier delivering the parcel delivered it to the incorrect address but the person living there, no where near where I live, was kind enough to deliver it in person to me. Power Bug may wish to review which couriers they use as I do not know if this is a repeating problem for them.”

“I was very pleased with my deal I got prior to the black Friday offers. I bought two lithium trolleys, 2 bags, 2 brollies, 2 mounts and brolly holders, 2 sets of wheel covers and 2 mitts. Yes I got a good deal but there was no mention of black Friday offers, I might have got them all for a better price if I waited for a couple of days. It's a pity there was no mention of the deals that were only days away. Customer relations? I really only needed one set for my wife but took the opportunity to do a deal for two sets.”

“The postage costs of £4.50 for a package that weighed less than an ounce is scandalous. The package had a small 2nd class stamp. £5 for the small plastic part and £4.50 postage.”

“Run by technicians who own the business and design the products they sell. They know what they are talking about so their advice is sound, and what's more, they go the extra mile. I called after hours (unwittingly) one Friday ..no matter, they were tinkering about upstairs, came down and saw to me. Old fashioned service with a smile, as it used to be - fabulous!”

“whilst the service is without reproach, the prices I was charged for skimpy bits of spare plastic are verging on the immoral, considering they would only have cost a few pence, maybe £1 with postage! Definitely a total rip off.”

We are not asking for this comment to be removed as it has vexed us so much. Thank you for your kind comment in relation to our service, it is appreciated. We are sorry to hear that you consider the cost of a replacement screen that you have broken unacceptable. You did not receive a 'skimpy bit of plastic'. These components are tooled and stocked. We employ trained staff to pick and pack product for despatch. Then their are packaging material and postage charges that are totally out of our control. All of the above compound the cost and to be accused of immorality and 'ripping off' we think is a bit harsh. Hopefully the above will explain our position against low cost items as we have to cover costs to remain at your service for years to come. Thanks anyway for making your feelings known.

“l ordered a replacement battery. lt took a week to arrive not helped by the delivery driver running out of time and delaying delivery by a day. The new battery is slightly bigger and did not fit the holder. l contacted Power bug who then sent replacement holders. (foc) This was a furthre two days lost.”

Our standard delivery promise is between 2-5 working days. With the extra day taken, we did actually make the delivery promise. A replacement battery was ordered and processed. Replacement battery inserts were not ordered but sent FOC with compliments when requested saving the customer around £14.00 inclusive of carriage taking two days from request to receipt by the customer.
