“Been using "Posh Eyes" every two years for a long time. Everything about this service is outstandingly good. Add to that the huge price difference between Big Brands to see why this Pensioner would never think of going anywhere else! Many thanks!”

“Terrible! The ophthalmic technician carelessly scratched and damaged the blue coating on my Brand New and expensive Silhouette frames whilst fitting the lenses. I complained about the damage to the frames when I received the glasses but my complaint fell on deaf ears. I was therefore not happy with the service provided (which was not cheap) so would not recommend this company.”

I am sorry that our customer was not happy with our service, and am very surprised at the comment. In 2012 our customer asked Posh Eyes to add new lenses to his own existing glasses frames (known as reglazing). Every reglazed pair of glasses is checked thoroughly prior to despatch to ensure that each frame sent to us by our customers is returned in the same condition as it is received. After receiving his reglazed glasses our customer commented "Dear Julian, I received the glasses safely yesterday and on the whole am pleased with them." Although we find it difficult to reconcile this comment with the negative review, I am happy to discuss his order with us at any time. Julian Gooddy, Managing Director, Posh Eyes.

“I use Posh Eyes from time to time, sometimes when I just need new lenses to put in existing frames. I have always found the service to be be very good. The website is clear and informative and my contact within Posh Eyes, Julian Gooddy has always been helpful and professional. Unfortunately, Specsavers now offer 25% discount on all frames and lenses to the over 60s. I do like to use Essilor reactive lenses as I find they have less glare in sunlight on the golf course. Specsavers never used to offer discount on these lenses but now do so. This has tended to make Posh Eyes offering rather less competitive in price.”

Varilux lenses are the most fitted varifocal lenses by independent opticians. As a premium brand, Varilux lenses offer the clearest and widest field of vision. “The service was very good, glasses were correctly manufactured and arrived in a reasonable time. Only slight problem was with the metal frame selected the nose supports kept having to be replaced and the ends of the sidearms broke off ending in my having to put a shrinkwrap sleeve over the ends to make the spectacles wearable. I would recommend Posh eyes for their excellent service but would be selective regarding the frames chosen. Rod Booth”
