“When I placed my order my item was indicating in stock prompting me to release my payment details. Following payment I received confirmation my order would ship 2-3 days. Unfortunately following contact as I did not receive my order I was advised they had to wait for stock to replenish from elsewhere. The glasses, although attractive, do not feel like £60 quality. They sound and feel cheap and the construction is such that they catch themselves on my hair! Next time I will try on in a shop when I purchase glasses.”

Dear Janice, Many thanks for your comment. I am sorry that you are not entirely happy with your new sunglasses. We commit to despatching glasses and sunglasses frames within 7 working days of order, and include this in every order confirmation email. Although we were well within this timescale for your order, and payment only taken at the time your sunglasses were despatched, you are clearly not happy with the service you have received from Posh Eyes. Please feel free to return your sunglasses to us in original packaging and condition so that we receive them by 12th February for a full refund.

Dear Donny, many thanks for your feedback. We commit to despatching spectacle frames within 7 working days of order which we include on the confirmation email sent at the time of order. Your frames have been desapatched today (4 working days from order). To speed delivery to you we have upgraded your delivery from 2nd Class Post to Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge, so you should receive you glasses frames tomorrow. Please note that, unlike many online retailers, we only take payment at the time an order is despatched, which in your case is today (9th January). “Terrible! The ophthalmic technician carelessly scratched and damaged the blue coating on my Brand New and expensive Silhouette frames whilst fitting the lenses. I complained about the damage to the frames when I received the glasses but my complaint fell on deaf ears. I was therefore not happy with the service provided (which was not cheap) so would not recommend this company.”

I am sorry that our customer was not happy with our service, and am very surprised at the comment. In 2012 our customer asked Posh Eyes to add new lenses to his own existing glasses frames (known as reglazing). Every reglazed pair of glasses is checked thoroughly prior to despatch to ensure that each frame sent to us by our customers is returned in the same condition as it is received. After receiving his reglazed glasses our customer commented "Dear Julian, I received the glasses safely yesterday and on the whole am pleased with them." Although we find it difficult to reconcile this comment with the negative review, I am happy to discuss his order with us at any time. Julian Gooddy, Managing Director, Posh Eyes.
