Delivery was schedules 5 times and each time didn’t arrive, with no reason, no call or update and no goodwill gesture. Trying to speak with a manager to resolve was non existent, as was the depot dispatching the goods. Would not recommend or use again.

Arrived damaged, reported straight away, had to wait over a week before I had to call and complain that I still hadn’t received my replacement item. Lady on the phone asked me to collect the new item myself which I refused and asked for a refund instead. Been 2 weeks and still haven’t received it!

Awful experience. Not all of my order was sent and I emailed numerous times and was ignored. I have now been informed that my missing boards are no longer available so I am unable to complete the project. They really don't seem to care!

Hi Jayne, We are sorry that you feel this way, looking into this the order was fulfilled in full signed for and we sent you proof of delivery for it all. We have never stated that the one board you claim is missing is no longer available however that it was delivered back in February with the rest of the order. Our CS team are still looking into this and as for the emails we do not seem to have any from you at all? Only on online chat which you seem to disconnect from. We have just spoke to you now on the phone as you called in after leaving this review. We are now working to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. Thank you for leaving your review.
The worst service I have ever received, no emails to update me on my delivery, into my third week now and still no delivery!!! Avoid this company like the plague

I have been looking at building plastics reviews recently and have noticed a common theme that it seems they only reply to 5* reviews and Not the 1* I would have thought that those would have been the ones that should receive a reply to at least try to resolve the issues in the future

Poor customer service now been wait for an order that was placed on the 21/3/25 now 7 business days later and no sign of the delivery apparently the delivery company have attempted twice but seeing as someone has been home both times and the property has cctv there has been no attempt i would avoid at all costs.

I have purchased various items in the past from this company totalling around £1000 and been highly delighted with my purchase which came from Eurocell Hull , so when I needed two black soffits I ordered them from building plastics again but this time they came from GAP plastics Hull , I had to send one board back as there was no protective film on and you can imagine the state the face was in, fair enough these things happen . The two boards that I received were only wrapped on one edge while the other edge was roughly sawn with the white plastic on show I have never seen such poor quality plastic products, once the protective film was removed they were scratched, marked with indentations on them and for £97 this was outrageous unfortunately I would not be purchasing any other products/materials from building plastics while they deal with GAP

Bought two shower wall panels initially and all was good with the delivery and quality. Tradesman said I need a third so ordered a third. The delivery driver arrived asked my mother in law to sign for it before offloading. Was asked to put it where the other panels were stored in workshop but he ignored and placed it meant against a gate in rain and strong winds. When the tradesman was leaving he found the panel had been blown down on to gravel. Trades man came to use it and noticed damage to the panel which meant it was not water tight. I contacted customer services. Told a pod was signed as proof of no damage and also photo taken by delivery driver showed no damaged. Firstly was not signed for before seeing plus damaged was caused by driver not putting it where he was asked and left it unsafe in high winds. No refund or replacement. Awful customer service.

I ordered a small amount of rainwater goods to the value of about £35 and was charged £18 delivery in a weeks time. Nothing arrived. After two weeks I contacted the company and was told that the goods were coming from a depot about 12 miles away but they were unable to contact anyone at that time,. I asked to be informed as to what was happening. I heard nothing. A few days later I contacted them again and was told virtually the same thing but that head office would sort this out by the end of the day. I heard nothing but the goods did arrive a few days later. It took 3 weeks to do 12 miles at £.1.50 a mile and no explanation why the delay.

Your Website totally mislead me on delivery charges , offering free delivery on orders over a certain amount which my order was. I was then informed that an error had been made and that I was liable for a delivery charge of £110 due to the distance involved. I paid that , reluctantly , and then discovered , from the delivery driver, that the goods had been dispatched from a factory 10KM from my house in Glasgow ,not from the north of England . So where does distance come into that equation? So who is more eligible for free delivery than me ? ALSO the delivery was made 24 hours in advance of the arranged time so we had to scramble to arrange unloading and storage

Ordered £300+ worth of skirting, waited 2 weeks for delivery date, on the day of delivery I had to contact customer services for a delivery time only to be emailed an hour later stating the order had been cancelled! No explanation why?! Now have to wait 5-10 working days for a refund! Absolute joke!

I bought some skirting boards on line which came to 4 times above the required minimum for free Delivery and paid for it. 5 days later I get a call telling me I have to pay for delivery as there was an error by their Website. Not only they were late to deliver, I was ask to pay for their mistake. I ended up collecting it as I had wait enough. They have changes their website now.

First order arrived ok no damage, there is lack of comunication between office and depot for delivery. Second order arrived damaged one panel cut to long, looks like damaged panel was cleverly hidden. Delivery person contacted me again not half hour before but when he was at delivery address. Lack of communication again. Next day work started and noticed damage so contacted by emai, no reply so called, promised to sort it out, almost week gone still nothing, emailed, no reply, called them and again promised. So opening oficial complaint as losing customers trust and loses becaus of this company. Order 135478

I placed my order on the Monday, thinking it would arrive before the weekend. I informed that it would come the following Monday which was too late. I sent an email on Thursday night asking for my order to be cancelled. I got an email back the following morning. Instead of confirming the cancellation it said someone going to ring me which never happened. The item arrived on the Monday but surplus to requirement as I bought the item locally but at more cost.

Returns are absolutely impossible and several weeks now after a completely incorrect order I am still stuck waiting! When it goes well things are fine but check deliveries before driver leaves and don’t expect any help when they mess up!
