“Points to address:
- no instructions were given on how to exit the car park. There was an email however no mention of the fact that there is a number plate recognition facility (which didn't actually work for us anyway). After scrolling on the website, we had to go to the T&Cs to find out.
The ticket when presented said we had £170 to pay, when we had already pre-paid. The number plate recognition didnt work. Managed to speak to help via the intercom after 5 minutes of calling.
- we were parked in H1 and managed to find the way to the airport but a clear path would be helpful. Especially when pulling big cases past cars.”

“Having used a few airport parking sites around Edinburgh Airport, this was the easiest and most convenient to use. Hop step and jump from the pedestrian entrance, both arrival and departure was quick and easy. No phone calls and shuttle buses needed. I'll do it again.”
“Tried, but had couldn’t alter booking to add an extra day due to strike at Paris Charles de Gaul.
Charged £65 on return. Original booking for the week was only £106. Extortionate!”
“As we arrived at plane parking we found the entrance blocked ,as it was quite dark at 3:30am did not notice the sign telling us to park at the long stay carpark until we revisted the blocked off area a second time. a simple email could have made this experience a lot simpler before arriving. Because I was sent to the long stay I was charged an extra £7 to exit the carpark because our luggage was delayed from the flight.”
“Good value parking at Edinburgh airport . The only issue we had was the lack of baggage trolleys to get our luggage from the car park to the terminal building. There seems to be no facility for this service.”
“disapointed that no buses are being used. asking people to walk to the departure lounge in pouring rain and maybe on the return as well. until busses are reinstated we will no longer use plane parking and wil lfind an alternative arrangement.”
“First time I've used this type of parking and I'll certainly use it again as it was such a smooth and efficient operation. The staff on arrival were extremely helpful and explained the collection procedure so thoroughly it enabled me to pick up my car on my return to Edinburgh without any delay and, not knowing Edinburgh Airport well, only the minor difficulty of finding the car park as the Arrivals Hall and exit didn't have any signage. All in all, I was pleased with the whole set-up.”
“There was no sign, to say that I was in the plane parking carpark.. when I called for info.. the man hung up on me. & Also I was overcharged £16.50 extra.. because there was no baggage handlers to unload our luggage, til 3 hours later I'm not happy about being charged extra, especially when it wasn't my fault !!”
“Because we returned in the early hours and were a bit concerned. So when I put my ticket in the machine and it showed that I owed a bill of £410 I was startled as I already pre paid. So I called for assistance. Your member of staff was absolutely excellent and put us at ease right away. I will certainly be using this car park again.”
