“I tried mutton,bacon and beef. Was looking forward to the traditional cure back bacon,disappointing to see there's no rind,my favourite part since childhood. But not used it yet so I'm hoping the taste doesn't disappoint. The beef I've frozen as the weather is so warm but it looks really good. I'm afraid my first experience of mutton was disappointing as it was very tough but I've no idea if this is usual or not,however the taste did not disapoint and the resulting shepherds pies were delicious, if a tad expensive. First class delivery and excellent packaging.”

We do leave the rind on our streaky bacon but there would be too much fat on the back bacon if we left the rind on the back bacon. We hope that the taste of our products does not disappoint you and that you thoroughly enjoy them. We are delighted to hear that the beef looks great, and we understand the need to freeze it due to the warm weather. Regarding the mutton, we apologize if it was tough. While it may vary, we appreciate your honest feedback and will take this into consideration for future improvements. “I have been using Pipers Farm for at least a year now and have been impressed with the quality of the meat and meat products. My diet is mainly meat and dairy so I need to ensure I get good quality grass and pasture fed meat. I love that Pipers and associated farms are using regenerative farming as this is the only way to ensure the delicate balance of the ecosystem continues to thrive. I also like that there are hardly any extra ingredients in the products i.e. sausages unlike the supermarket brands. Great wholesome meat lovingly nutured and tastes delicious!”

“Pipers farm offer high quality products. We have always been delighted with the meat and the pantry items we buy from them. Pipers philosophy on rearing animals is similar to our own. We think if we are going to eat meat, then we want that animal to have the best life it can before slaughter. We are realistic, the animals are bred for eating, but that doesn't mean they need to have a miserable or cruel life, and Pipers give them a much longer and better quality life than industrial animal producers. And the animals are out door reared. We highly recommend Pipers Farm.”

“The food at Pipers is second to none. And this is proven by the fact that we have bought our meat from them ever since they first started trading and delivered to us weekly in their own little van. However, currently we have ongoing problems with DPD as their chosen courier. They continually deliver to the wrong address, which means we have to hunt for the parcel before the contents defrost. Last week's delivery was the worst yet as their parcel was left at the wrong address as usual, at the roadside on top of a box in full sun (picture below). Had we not found it the contents would surely have been spoiled. I phoned Pipers to let them know and the lady I spoke to promised to have a word with DPD and get back to me - she did not. I was then both surprised and annoyed to have the phone put down on me towards the end of my conversation while I was still speaking. If Pipers have recorded the call they can check this. This is NOT customer service. Regrettably we will not be ordering again.”
