“Pipers farm produce is some of the best was have tried. Good quality and always on time. You know exactly where the meat is coming from and how it is treated. Only one criticism , the recipes do not have serving information which is a bit off putting , but you can always contact them and they are very helpful and they really are great recipes . Can’t wait for their cookbook .”

“Several items in my order arrived defrosted as the cold blocks were at one end of the packed order so the items furthest away were completely defrosted. When I sent in a complain the reply was to refreeze the items (I received the reply 3 days later as my order arrived at 7pm on Friday so I had already eaten them when I had wanted to keep them for later) and to read the care sheet. There was no care sheet in my order. Saying that, I have since eaten the fillet steak which was fabulous quality as were the lamb burgers, but I was not keen on the smooth texture of the beef, blue cheese and red onion burgers.”

Hi Pamela, I am so sorry that there was not a Care Guide included in your delivery, as the care guide tells you that you can Safely refreeze Pipers Farm meat. This is because we have grown our meat so carefully you can defrost and freeze your meat too. There is a widespread faux pas that you can’t re-freeze meat once it has been defrosted. While we would not recommend you do not do this with supermarket meat, this is one of the benefits of shopping with Pipers Farm, our meat is completely safe to re-freeze. Sadly our Customer Care team do not work weekends and replied to your email first thing on Monday morning. “Only tried the Cumberland and the pork sausages. They were both very nice, though to me an ex butcher. The bay leaf in the Cumberland over powered the other spices, and I would have like a higher fat to meat content, but just being picky. Looking forward to my pork chops and streaky home cured bacon. Keep up the excellent standard.Aaaaaa+++++++”

“Very pleased with latest delivery from Pipers Farm. Meat was beautifully packed individually and kept cool with cool packs and insulation with sheep wool. Haven't started these items yet but previous order of mutton was sublime. A real taste of how meat used to be, and much enjoyed. Many thanks.”

“Great quality meat. Expensive but worth every penny. You get what you pay for. The topside roast is one of our favourites. So tender and flavoursome. Delivery is good. Some of the vac packs leak which is worth remembering when defrosting in the fridge. It would also be nice to have some low fat options for minced beef and actually have the fat content stated on the web site”

“Never had a bad piece of meat from these guys. I regularly buy chicken and beef. The smoked bacon is great (but slice off the skin/rind before cooking). The sausages were the only thing disappointing, they were too dry for me. It's the only meat product I still buy from a supermarket.”
