“I have ordered from this store many times, and everything was fine until recently.About a month ago, I placed an order that didn't arrive on the expected delivery date. Late that night, I saw that the courier had received my order. The next morning, I called the store, and they told me they had given it to the courier. When I expressed my concern about the meat possibly getting unfrozen since the delivery company had my order since the previous day, they rudely responded that they had followed the process and that the order would be fine. However, the order eventually arrived half unfrozen. I sent an email to the store regarding this, but I never received a response.Hoping the issue was a one-time incident, I reordered from them after a month. Unfortunately, my order was six hours late, the box was beaten up and half open, and again, half my order was unfrozen. I don't know if this last issue was the courier's fault, but the store's lack of willingness to help or address the matter has led me to decide that I won't be ordering from this store again.”

“Shoulder of pork ordered. Skin, which was not attached, was unscored. Removing the string to score showed the roll to be full of offcuts. Meat when cooked was tough.”

“If you are looking for high quality ethically reared meat you will not beat Pipers farm produce .If it wasnt for Pipers farm I would have stopped feeding chicken to my family years and years ago . All that was available back then was sick chicken , denatured and full of nasty things . I guess if you’re reading this you are already a convert and , like me , you can rest assured you are feeding your family sustainably reared meat from a healthy environment.Pipers farm protect and re invigorate the environment for our children’s future so they too can eat healthy food. .”

“Ordered a few weeks in advance for a special occasion, unfortunately not delivered on that day, delivery company fault not Pipers tbf, I did get notice in time to rush out and purchase others goods for the day. Arrived following day day but totally defrosted, had too much so asked if okay to refreeze which I reluctantly did. Get 4 stars for the sausage I have eaten as very good, delivery very poor mind.”

“Have been a Pipers customer for quite a while now but recently it is the first time I have treated us to their fillet steak. It will not be the last!! Fillet steak is, as we all know, renowned for its tenderness. But sadly does not have a lot of flavour unless coupled with a sauce or seasoning of some kind. Many many years ago my local butcher sold fillet that tasted of something at least but sadly that is no longer the case. Fillet can now be "watery and tasteless". Not so with Pipers!! Proper depth of good beef flavour as well as tenderness. Yess - it's expensive. But worth every penny. Also their loin of lamb, organic stock and Dover sole is excellent. Save up if you have to and are able to. And spend a little more on yourself with Pipers. The extra flavour and quality, not to mention the nutritional value is more than enough to justify the expense. Well done to all of you and those in your "extended family" of suppliers and farmers. Don't change a thing you do.”

“I tried mutton,bacon and beef. Was looking forward to the traditional cure back bacon,disappointing to see there's no rind,my favourite part since childhood. But not used it yet so I'm hoping the taste doesn't disappoint. The beef I've frozen as the weather is so warm but it looks really good. I'm afraid my first experience of mutton was disappointing as it was very tough but I've no idea if this is usual or not,however the taste did not disapoint and the resulting shepherds pies were delicious, if a tad expensive. First class delivery and excellent packaging.”
