Also really nice to receive some lovely fresh herbs in the carcass and a separate pack of goose fat for potatoes. I will definitely use Pipers again.”

“The great thing about ordering from Pipers Farm is the quality of the meat, chicken etc. Items are top drawer in flavour and portion sizes, well butchered and prepared. Oh also the handy packaging and ease of storage. Also of course the lovely people at the end of a phone etc who all exhibit supreme customer care. Perhaps though the main reason for buying from the farm is knowing that the highest order of stockmanship and care goes into each meal. If I'm going to be a carnivore I want to know my meal has been responsibly sourced from people who care for and about their animals and the land.”

The seabass was perfectly wonderful, the turkey breast is awaiting my attention but looks smashing and the smoked salmon tastes delicious and will be served as starter on Christmas Day. `I am so happy with my goodies and they will be my go-to for online butchery, sea world and the other extraordinary bakery et al - and I love to know I am supporting local, individual farmers and fisheries etc. We should all do all we can to protect a precious resource.”
