“The annual trawl through potential car insurers is always a nightmare. This years activity was no better. I chose Peter Best because of coverage and cost but I’m sure, as always, I’ve missed something in the small print. I didn’t receive a confirmation nearer the start date that my insurance was in place, that would have helped to ensure peace of mind. I only had the original documentation but a reassuring email would have been good”

“PBIS has good customer service. Telephone customer service contacts answer very quickly and are very helpful customer service staff. The only bad side is that they (C/Service) take my credit card details, including the security 3-digit PIN number, over the phone, instead of using a phone keypad, as a secure transaction. I would like the particular card charging services to be done by allowing customers to use the phone keypad, as a secure transaction.”

Hi, Thank you for the 4 star review. With regards to the auto renewal payment being taken 7 days prior, we do inform you of this on the renewal notice that gets sent to your customer account 21 days prior to the renewal date. The reason we collect it 7 days prior is because if the auto renewal payment is unsuccessful the customer then has 7 days to contact us and provide updated payment details. If we did it on the day of renewal and the customer didn't receive the notification in time there is a chance that the customer would be left uninsured. “Tip top service for over 20 years and all your colleagues are delightful but sometimes the requested posted copy documentation comes muddled up with some items missing .As a whole though would thoroughly recommend you .”

“The company try to do all online, and I do not like using computers. I phoned and they did send my documents in the post. I wish companies thought about people who do not want to use IT.”
