“The order of damp proof paint was a quick delivery albeit I had to pay for it, the paint was very good on application and dried in no time. My only mention really was that I gave my size of room and was advised 2 tubs 5 ltr and now finished after 2 coats I am left with a full tub and just less than half on the other, and they are not what you call cheap but good.”

“Very disappointed- spent ages preparing interior sandstone wall of outbuildings which had been painted previously with ordinary masonry paint. Over the years it had flaked and blown in places due to damp(no damp course). Stripped it back and have had dehumidifier running for months. 2 coats of Permaguard and damp stain comes straight through ?? Thought it would seal this so I could overpaint again - unfortunately not. Any suggestions??”

“I didn't find the products particularly easy to use - wasn't sure what consistency to aim for or how long to let it dry before second coating - the advice of 2 to 24 hours was a bit vague. I have completed the work and it has certainly set hard so hopefully I have resolved my water seepage issues. I could not get it to stick to 2 of the walls I was hoping to treat - these had light grey bricks which were very absorbant and no amount of pre spraying with water would result in decent adhesion - most of it fell off when dry. I therefore have not continued to treat these walls and frustratingly have a lot of product left over.”

“Arrived next day. Had used previously, in paint type tin, mixed with whisk. Was fine, but this new pouch packaging is so easy to mix, then pour straight on the floor with only a paint brush required to level. Seals the floor permanently and levels it at the same time. Any high spots can be sanded flat once dry. Layed a vinyl click floor on top. Perfect.”
