“I had to purchase a plan to provide my local council with the position of my house as they informed me it couldn't be called The Coach House, my plan has this information printed on it!! But still I have had to change the name, so in my eyes the plan is wrong. Hence only 4 stars.”

Dear Leanne, the plan automatically puts the address that you have selected as the title of your plan, but you have the option to change that before purchasing and add what you want as the title on the 3rd step before purchasing. “Really easy to use but still got rejected by the Local Authority as it needed to have a north arrow. Just something to consider for the IT designers on next upgrade.”

“Your website states that these are suitable for Planning applications, but I often find that only one street name will show up on my desired scale. Planning authorities require 2 named streets on a Location Plan otherwise they often won't accept the location plan. I continue you purchase off you however as I like the plan from an aesthetic point of view, but feel if you are advertising that they are suitable for planning applications then they should always show 2 street names no matter the scale. Dear Annette, thank you for the review. In some areas it may not be possible to fit on two street names due to the way the Ordnance Survey mapping has been created. This is particularly common in rural areas. Our plans (in PDF version) also show an OS grid reference (an easting and northing) which will help locate the planning office into the exact location thereby negating the need for street names. I hope this helps.

“Whilst just adequate for the required purpose, the site plan with streets on a diagonal might have been better at a larger area coverage to show the full extent of the roads possibly on an A3 sheet size. The North sign should be larger and bolder, placed at the top right instead of the top left”

“You offer a good service and I liked the fact that I could draw the boundary line around my unusual shaped boundaries myself. Problem is there is no zoom facility to ensure the rather crude placement of the cursor falls exactly in the right place. Even if your 'delete' facility allowed only the last point to be deleted, it would be an improvement. As an ex-MOD Cartographer I would be happy to advise you on how to improve the facility. Robin”
