“I used the service on my tablet as I don't have access to a computer at the moment. This means that drawing an accurate red outline around my property was near impossible. Accuracy is something that the planners require so was dissapointed when I downloaded my purchase and found it was completely unusable.”

Dear Customer Sorry you thought that. The mapping is very expensive for the Ordnance Survey to obtain as it's the most detailed mapping of the UK. This cost is therefore reflected in the price you pay. You'll find similar pricing from all suppliers. Hope this clarifies your point. Much appreciated!

“The Lambeth council needs site plans at 1:100 or 1:200. The site confusingly calls these block plans and location plans site plans. Other issue, when you buy a Location plan. You have to be sure to mark the building or is it the block or both? Don't get this wrong. Strangely, there are hard rules for this and you think the site could help you better on this.”

Dear Fred, thanks for the review but we're a bit confused by this. We do supply plans at 1:200 scale. We do have a tool so you can outline your property like all other suppliers. We don't know which building or property is yours so it's best the customer marks their plan, we cannot do this for you. Can you perhaps clarify what you mean? Much appreciated.

Sorry to hear that and thanks for the feedback. This isn't a request we often get but we're happy to look into adding it as a new feature.

“I was not very happy with the service as I thought I had done my plan correctly, but there was no preview to see before I clicked "buy plan" and it turned out that I hadn't centred it right. Due to this error I then had to buy a second plan, and although I was refunded, I still had to pay £5 towards the cost of the first one. Thus the one plan ended up costing over £20!”

Dear Jane sorry to hear this. There is a preview that you're shown before purchasing, it's the page you see wit the map shown on it of your area. We also encourage you to double check it with a message that pops up before proceeding. Unfortunately we need to pass on some of the royalty costs we incur from the OS even for refunded orders. Hope this clarifies for you.

Hello William, thanks for the feedback. We do show the plans on the site prior to purchase and they are the standard format for planning applications (and as such alot cheaper than a full A4 page of mapping). We do however also offer full A4 mapping via our sister site www.mapserve.co.uk if this of interest. Hope this helps.

“I wrote toy you after I purchased the plan. My fault but I purchased the same map twice. I asked whether you are able to help and refund the payment for one of the maps. You never replied and for that reason I will not be using you again.”
