Courier comes much late than was mentioned in text massage. ALSO PARCEL ARRIVED DAMAGED!!! I was note in order fragile and extra printed at parcel HANDLE WITH CARE and THIS SIDE UP. NOT RECOMMENING ORDER BY GLS!!!

Online booking system allowed me to arrange, book & pay for, a drop off to a local store who unhelpfully told me that ‘we don’t do that anymore’ and by all means leave my parcel with a bunch of other uncollected parcels - pity those unsuspecting customers! Store assistant said they haven’t offered that service for over a month which begs the question why is it still noted online as a store that does! The store assistant advised I go to another store in a town some 20 miles away. I tried to call that second store several times to be sure they could accept my parcel to send to no answer. Tried multiple times to contact Parcel Direct to no avail. I can only rate them for an excellent looking website with non existent customer care. Went to try that 2nd store & if that didn’nt work either. Ended up delivering my parcel to Dublin myself - two hour round trip. I’ll try but think a refund will be as impossible to get as a reply from this company. Much time & frustration spent! Won’t try to use again & certainly will not recommend.

Failed to deliver our product to clients in Australia Decided the package pick up point was the Consignee so wasted days sending them queries instead of us. Then took more money from our account without permission or an invoice to ship the package all the way back to Ireland. Strange how ParcelDirect don't show the 2.5 stars (poor) review average from TrustPilot on their website

I wish I read the reviews of Parcel Direct before using their service. Booked a pick-up in Ireland on July 1st, for July 2nd. Paid and confirmed. We are today on July 8th and the sender never received a call or visit for pick-up. Tried to contact Parceldirect online as they don't provide a phone number, no reply either. Don't loose your time and money with this not ghost operated company.

Booked my collection for 9th May but it was not picked up. I rang parcel direct on 10th May and spoke to an agent who said he would get in contact with the courier and have it collected that day. He asked opening hours of business etc. I arrive at work Monday 13th May to see parcel still here. I phone PD at 10am to be told they will check with courier and call me straight back. 4 hours later and no call back. I ri g again to be told these things are out of our hands and 'how are we supposed to know when your courier will collect it if they haven't come back to us' !! He offered me a refund and book withnsomwone else ! I asked to speak with a supervisor to which he told me firstly there is none and then thst he was the supervisor. I asked for the manager and he said the boss is never there! Absolutely shocking attitude and zero customer service. Won't be using again. (Office I rang was cork, Micheal and Zane).

Absolute sham of a company. Sent a package from Ireland to one of the biggest industrial sites in Australia. Courier claims to have been unable to find it - totally unbelievable. They claim to have tried to contact us - not true Now saying they are returning the package all the way to Ireland - no refund and are claiming they can charge us for it! Read TrustPilot reviews - more than 50% are 1 star horror stories

Suitcase took 22 days to arrive rather than the advertised 4-6 service. Was not advised or assisted with declaring the good (my own clothes) for Australian customs and ended up having to pay for an Australia customs broker and international customs charges $700. Advised by Australian customs services and Fedex that this should have been outlined to me the customer by Parcel Direct prior to shipping as this was always going to be an issue. Very poor customer servie since then and advised by customer care that they dont have a policy for applying directly for a refund alongside rude staff on the phone Would absolutly not recommend using Parcel Direct

Warning: Do not use this company. My parcel worth the best part of 2k and so I took out extra insurance with Parcel Direct.ie just in case. The parcel was got lost and once officially deemed lost Parcel Direct.ie did nothing to process the insurance claim or get me the compensation I paid for. Customer services (which means whoever picks up the phone) did not have the ability to do anything about this and had no power to do anything about it. When escalating the problem, the only person higher up was the owner - this is a very small company. The staff left countless messages for him to get back to me but he never did. I phoned practically twice a week for the best part of a year to no avail. I eventually gave up - which was likely the owner's strategy - he certainly has no care or concern for his customers. Do not trust this company. Go directly to the company they supposedly liaise with because if something goes wrong parcel direct won't help and the courier company they use on your behalf can't help because you went through a third party. Also, taking out their insurance amounts to nothing. I hereby challenge Parcel Direct to come back to me and make things right. If they do - I'll certainly post again to let you know.

Parceldirect were due to collect my parcel today. My husband stayed home all day. No one came to collect the parcel. I rang the number after 5pm and no answer. My husband rang earlier in the day and they could not give a time indication for collection. We couldnt leave it out as it was snowing!!

I paid for my parcel to be picked up. It never was I emailed and got told they would try again I have emailed since and no reply no refund notting just ignored this is going on since December stay away would not recommend

My parcel was supposed to be collected on the 19/1/2024 between 9am and 5.30pm they did not turn up for it I received no email or phone call to explain as to why it was not collected I've sent two email and rang their number at least 20 times and nobody's answerd the phone or emailed me back to let me know why this has happened they were good enough to take my order and payment but not good enough to get back to me customer service is appalling

Parcel was due to be collected on thursay, driver rang doorbell once and drove off when I rang parcel direct I was told it would be definetely collected friday...waited but no collection. No contact until I emailed the following tuesday then had to bring parcel to different location to be collected finally a week later and no apologies received.

It does not get much worse than this. Trust me. I go online to this site and choose a carrier. I get an emai saying that carrier cannot do the job. I am also told that I have been upgraded to different carrier. However, among my options, when I first booked, was this new carrier and they were, in fact cheaper !!. Parcel was not collected the next day. Parcel was not collected the day after that either. I called and cancelled. I was told,sorry you will get a refund. One month later, no refund. How about that? Emailed to no affect. Now taking further action to get my money back.

Absolutely shocking service and terrible customer service. Have used this company twice and both times my parcel was lost. The first time I chased and chased for updates and there was no proactive communication. The box could not be found so I had to send a replacement. They eventually found the missing box and delivered it to my customer as well as the replacement. I decided to give them a second chance and used them again and the exact same thing has occurred. My box has disappeared, nobody can tell me where it is and Parceldirect are no longer even replying to my emails. My customer is messaging me continuously for updates and I cannot tell him anything. No proactive communication from Parceldirect and shocking that they are now ignoring me completely.

Their service is an absolute disgrace. I was waiting 2 consecutive days past the collection date they committed for the package to be picked up. I was reassured multiple times by their staff it’ll be collected and it wasn’t. No respect for customers time, if I could give them zero stars I would. An absolute waste of 2 days of mine and other persons time to wait for collection and delivery. Avoid them, you’d be quicker to do it yourself. Interestingly, they put a customer rating of 4.5 on their company website. Laughable and dishonest. The feedback on google is telling, I wish I checked it before engaging.

We have dealt with them for a number of years now and generally the service is good BUT when it goes wrong it goes horribly wrong, and they have no control whatsoever over the couriers they deal with. Nor do they stand up to them and hold them accountable. Twice now FedEx has run roughshod over us. they lost two parcels - one valued at €8500 which would never have been found but for the very honest man in a remote Canadian village who received it. The second valued at €5,500 which after 9 weeks FedEx still won't admit they have lost. And Parcel direct are letting them away with it. We have a client who is furious and wants us to refund them and we will have to wait on FedEx firstly to admit responsibility and then to decide when they are good and ready if they will pay us in spite of the fact that the item is fully insured. It is an outright scandal. We pay a middle man to fight for us but Parcel Direct fall sadly short of the mark

I have just spent 2 hours trying to fill in the details to send a package to Canada. The booking system on the parceldirect.ie website is an absolute nightmare. There is no guidance in terms of the information required (the description of the contents was "inadequate") the currency seems to change between € and CAN$, the system won't accept Montreal because it should be Montréal, then it won't accept Montréal because special characters (the é) are not allowed. Then I kept getting into a loop where I had to keep filling in the customs codes and value, only to find that I now had booked in 5 parcels to send. Finally, the total value of the shipment was, let's say, €50.30 but it rejected it because it said it was €50.3000000004! Where is my defibrillator? Maybe the actual shipping will be OK but it is so frustrating trying to set it up online.

Item booked for.collection specifically for Wednesday 22nd but as expected it wasn’t collected, no e mail, phone call, message… nothing Would definitely not recommend or use this service again as it’s not fit for purpose

Waited all day for a collection at my address, but nobody turned up or called me wasted my whole day, then i went onto FED EX customer service chat, talking to a robot, then I was supposed to be connected to a live chat, got no reply, wasted another 10 minutes of my day :-(
