“I needed to send notarized mortgage documents across the Atlantic on a tight deadline, so I chose Parcel Direct so I could quickly see which carriers were available and what their prices were. I could easily see the most affordable and fastest option, and once I selected the carrier (TnT), the process of printing out the labels was easy and the instructions were clear. My documents were picked up the next day at my door, and I was quickly emailed tracking information. My documents were supposed to take 2-4 business days. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week and they are still not there. I can see them moving, via the tracking information, but they are very late. This jeopardized the purchase of our home, caused serious stress to us and to the sellers, caused more work for the laywer who was helping us, and caused the sellers to delay travel they had booked. We were extremely lucky the lawyer agreed to temporarily work with scanned files we sent by email. During this stressful process, each time I reached out to TnT, I received no response whatsoever. However, I also reached out to Parcel Direct several times, and they were great. They responded VERY speedily each time, and they acted swiftly to look into the delays. They managed to receive responses from the carrier when I could not. In the end, this particular delivery was not a good experience, but it was 100% because of TnT and 0% because of Parcel Direct. I would definitely use Parcel Direct again for their excellent customer service, ease of use, pickup at the door, and comparison shopping. However, I will never in a million years deal with TnT. I might have saved 30 euro but it was not worth it for the many people who were stressed by TnT's sluggish and late delivery (or, rather, non-delivery)!”

“nEVER USED THIS SERVICE BEFORE BUT WELL WORTH IT. I SENT A PARCEL TO ITALY AND THE COST COMPARISON WAS THE SAME AS AN POST BUT AN POST WOULD ONLY GIVE A COVER OF €150 INSURANCE AGAINST LOOSS. WILL USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN”

“A big thank you to Parcel Direct for saving our son’s family Christmas in England and in turn making our Christmas at home in Dublin. We had used Parcel Direct’s express service both before and during Covid and always with an excellent result. But this time round we hadn’t reckoned with the heady mix of Brexit, Omicrom and English Customs. We were riveted to the tracking screen as Christmas week kicked off but our very large parcel was not budging from the Castle Donington Hub. Parcel Direct stayed in touch daily by phone and email updates and we were reassured they were going to get a result- this was a large parcel of Christmas gifts from the wider family and like Santa had to deliver on time..... Early on Christmas Eve morning our tracking screen magically changed to “Out for delivery” and at lunch time a call from our son that the parcel had arrived. Relief and joy all round. Thank you Parcel Direct for a job well done in difficult circumstances and a Big Shout out in particular to Stephen Mealy.”

“As a new co I am happy with the service I got. My parcel got delivered to Edinburgh successfully to day Saturday. I was kept up to date with the progress of the journey. With covid and all the other restrictions I think you did reasonably well. I wish you well in the future and hope to use your service again during the year. “Good spread of couriers but the prices quoted magically get bigger once you commit to buy. Mine was increased by over €2 when I went to ship the package. Please quote EXACT prices when all info is entered and not ex VAT or EX charges etc. This is misleading and unfair.”

“Very well priced and a good website. Fifth star will come when the collection date is more reliable, for urgent shipments its always a concern as sometimes the collection wont happen on the booked date.”

“You are offering a reward for people's "kind" words. Should it not be for a fair and critical review of your service? Few services are flawless. It was a good experience and relatively easy but the following issues did arise 1. I received no email to verify my registering of an account so I had to proceed without one. 2. I changed my mind with regard to enhanced cover but each time I tried to edit it would not remove this option, so I had to start again. 3. I could not verify where the customs details are kept or stated for the parcel (I assume they are done in some other format than stated on the parcel) 4. American states have a postcode for zip +4. You only allow the zip code. Otherwise the process was great and confirms "delivery made easy". Thanks”
