“The service is easy to use. With a few clicks you get your shipment booked and paid. Got my shipment booked at ~5pm, and at 12 pm the following day my package was loaded on the van. I liked that ParcelDirect provides a choice of carriers. I was shipping big heavy box to Italy, and had a choice of 9 options, so you can compare offers from each company (DHL, FedEx, etc.). My parcel was supposed to arrive in 4-5 working days, but somehow it got to the destination in less than 24 hours :) Before I found ParcelDirect I was trying to arrange the shipment with DHL/UPS/FedEx directly, but none of them is doing parcel pickup. Last but not least. ParcelDirect price was way lower than if you would book directly with FedEx.”

“Warning: Do not use this company. My parcel worth the best part of 2k and so I took out extra insurance with Parcel Direct.ie just in case. The parcel was got lost and once officially deemed lost Parcel Direct.ie did nothing to process the insurance claim or get me the compensation I paid for. Customer services (which means whoever picks up the phone) did not have the ability to do anything about this and had no power to do anything about it. When escalating the problem, the only person higher up was the owner - this is a very small company. The staff left countless messages for him to get back to me but he never did. I phoned practically twice a week for the best part of a year to no avail. I eventually gave up - which was likely the owner's strategy - he certainly has no care or concern for his customers. Do not trust this company. Go directly to the company they supposedly liaise with because if something goes wrong parcel direct won't help and the courier company they use on your behalf can't help because you went through a third party. Also, taking out their insurance amounts to nothing. I hereby challenge Parcel Direct to come back to me and make things right. If they do - I'll certainly post again to let you know.”

“Ordered a pick up the night before at short notice. Package was collected at 9am next morning, cheapest and quickest courier option when I was looking for a company. Will 10ppercent use again. Zero hassle and super fast for a brilliant price”

“I book the collection for a Friday pickup, but the driver came only on the Monday and I was back to work. I did like the fact that the driver came by the next day to pick up the parcel. UPS did delivered to my brother's house in Canada, but I didn't like the fact that he did have to pay for an extra fee of about CAD41.00 which wasn't clear when making the order. This is the reason that I can only give 3 star in this occasion.”
