“Hi Karen, I apologise for not replying to your request at an earlier date BUT I have been observing the selection of Bamboos that I have purchased from you and your company. I have the following observations to make reference the order. 1.For the past weeks since the arrival of the Bamboos have arrived safely at my residence I have indeed been watering and feeding them,in particular the "Golden Bamboo" which was in a terrible state and is now only now showing signs of a very slow recovery.This bamboo arrived looking dead very very dry and was not healthy at all; when depotted to plant out in the garden we found a very large ants nest had infested the pot and literally taken over the Bamboo and the pot.The Bamboo was bone dry although copious amounts of water had been applied since the arrival of said plant.In fact I was shocked at the the quality of each Bamboo by the fact that they were all extremely dry despite considerable watering by me..This in turn made it difficult to remove each Bamboo from its pot and in fact some of the pots had to be cut off. I strongly advise that all plants should be watered before despatched and the quality checked.Also I suggest that each Bamboo be labelled as a "Clumper" or a runner/spreader depending on the type/variety.This in turn will assist the end user as to how much Bamboo barrier material to purchase.
