“This is the 1st time I have used Paramount Plants. Whilst I was surprised/disappointed that the 1.5M high skeeters broom acer was delivered without any form of protection (hence just 3 stars) it did appear to have survived its journey unscathed, probably more by good luck than good management. The plant was not cheap and I would have expected some form of protection against all of the dangers faced during its transit would have been a fundamental requirement. Notwithstanding my concerns regarding its transport the plant appears to be healthy and generally complies with the description on the web site in terms of its form and size. I have many years experience of growing acers and only time will tell if the plant is free from any inherent problems and genuinely healthy.”

“The company seams efficiently managed. Trees arrived to schedule. The driver wasn’t particularly courteous which was made worse as he was driving their liveried lorry. The trees themselves were tall specimens and expensive for us. When unwrapped I would say that I wasn’t stunned by the quality. They looked like they had been stood rootballed for a long length of time as the hessian wrap was green with algae. The wrapping of the branches had damaged some of the stems and branches. Our hope is though that they will recover but I am not sure they will. We did soak them for the three days prior to planting as they were very dry. And leaves were falling. Only after that did I see the mention in an email about reporting any issues within three days. Overall saddened at the condition of the trees.”

“This was our second order from Paramount as we have been so delighted with the large acer ŵe bought from you in the past. The pleached hornbeams are of even height with very sturdy bamboo frames. Very well trained and in great condition on arrival. They look fantastic and are just what we wanted. The hydrangea petiolaris is in mint condition. Lots of new growth and a very healthy specimen. And your delivery man was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Paramount Plants!”

“The plants are always of the highest quality and arrive very quickly if in stock. I have twice bought from Paramount and indeed have recommended them to friends. They deal with queries promptly ( a rarity nowadays) and are both knowledgeable and helpful.”

“Very happy with the service, although had to wait an extra month for delivery to allow for a bit more growth time. The wisteria is stunning and smells wonderful. The lantern tree will hopefully come on quickly and be as prolific in flower as its predecessor. My husband thought the acer was a little 'rangy' but of good size. Would buy from again.”

“The flowers are 100 percent rain repellent. My Amadeus climber has seen several torrential rain storms and passed with flying colours. The plant was immaculate when I received it.”
