This is my 3rd year buying a yearly diary as I love the designs and personalisation that Papier offer. However I'm dissapointed with the quality this year. I paid £36 for my diary and the paper, page sizes and quality of leather have reduced this year. The diary is smaller, the paper is low quality and the leather is not as thick. I don't mind paying £36 as long as the standards are maintained. I'm not sure I would purchase the diary again next year.

I have used these diaries for several years and I love them. Beautiful covers, lots of colours and personalisation is perfect. This year I preferred my diary as usual and u fortunately the paper quality is poor. I use a fountain pen and it is bleeding through the pages. I contacted customer services who were prompt in replying. I was offered 15% Discount on another product. I haven’t used this as I assume the paper would be the same in all the products. If you use a biro then it would be a lovely product.

The shipping took a while (due to a delay), which was ok. However I have to say I was not impressed with the way the cards arrived. I wish they were plastic wrapped for protection, and that they arrived in an enclosed box (vs an unfolded box). This would be nice because when I opened the box, and unwrapped the cards, they went everywhere and were not easy to store. Thankfully none of my cards were damaged, but they did arrive on a rainy Seattle day!

Hi Julia, we try to avoid plastic packaging for environmental reasons but we do offer a gift box for our notecards! Of course if items arrive damaged due to a carrier leaving them an unsuitable location we are happy to replace them! Papier Customer Service Team

A lot of cute designs but still have a lot more improvement needed. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of this planner. 1st- The cover for this planner is thin and it is paper so it can easily be ripped/folded. It is a yearly planner, I expected it to be hard thick-covered, or laminated. 2nd- minor issues but no attention to detail for the cut of the edge of the notebook. I wouldn’t be disappointed but It is not worth the price I paid for.

I made two orders recently for a total of 5 items. Out of the 5 items 3 had issues. The most recent order had another journal where the top cover is flush with the pages. It changes the way the journal opens and just doesn’t feel right. I’m surprised at the lack of quality control. I love the patterns, variety and paper quality, but it’s been very frustrating having so many faulty items. Papier replaced one item for me and refunded some money on the second item. I’m writing this in place of complaining about the third item. It gets old having to write to customer service. Envelopes are incredibly see-through. If privacy for your personal photos and messages are important to you, I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Delivered promptly, however I’ll say not worth it unless you get the hard cover. My cover came off in less than a month, disappointed considering the cost. The spirals that keep the planner together also aren’t the greatest quality.

I purchased a planner, a stamp set, and stickers. I spend $120. 1 sticker stack had lines through the pack and creased the sticker, but other than that all great items. My issue is the delivery system they have in place. They use Mail Innovations services meaning that UPS and USPS help deliver the package. That means delivery estimate is not a "day definite service", typically it has delays or a wider range for delivery. The services they use is not a problem I can wait. However, they make the customer pay the shipping for the shipping of the forced tracked order of $5.99 even if you purchase $120 worth of goods. Surely the company can afford the cost of the shipping, but nope. Anyways, if you're purchasing a gift I would recommend purchasing with ample time to get your order maybe like 2 weeks. As for me, I won't be purchasing from here again. Great product, but unfair pricing.

I ordered a planner. It was super cute! However, the covers fell off the spiral and cannot be put back on. In addition, since they are paper they start to rip. This is a great and super cute planner just not super durable.

I get my planner every year from Papier, but this year I got the Evergreen one from the collaboration with The Met and it was off-center. The design was all skewed to the left, which I didn't know what to do about. I could email support, I suppose, but I think that's just how the design prints onto all the planners. It would help if the website showed an actual physical copy of the planner instead of a digitized version where the crease from the binding is not visible. I assumed they would center the design in the flat part of the cover, but they must have centered it before binding the book, because the design ends up being much closer to the indented side where the pages are bound and leaves a ton of blank space on the right side of the cover. I feel like it will annoy me a little all year every time I take out my planner. I have absolutely adored the three other planners I got from Papier and wish they would get more designs from Desmond and Dempsy.

Notebook looks lovely on the outside but really disappointed with paper quality, even ballpoint pen shows through to the other side. Not what I expected for the price.

It is a lovely item, but I won't be spending that amount of money again. The outside of the note pad is good quality and I love the design. But considering the price, I would have expected a better quality of paper inside. If you a charging £23 for a note pad, when you could buy a cheaper alternative for £1 or £2 in shops, you do expect a little bit more. But, it does look good

I’m a big fan of Papier’s yearly planners and I’ve been ordering from them the last 3 years. I love the inside page layout and all the design cover choices. However, my 2024 planner just arrived and I’ve noticed a change in the paper quality. The pages feel thinner and are a starker white compared to my past years’ planners. The pens I use regularly without issue in my current 2023 planner are bleeding through pretty significantly in my new one. If you’re a long time customer you may also be disappointed with the newly printed batch.

Everything arrived promptly but the picture quality is awful. I had 10% off and it still cost almost £4.50 for 1 birthday card. I’m probably going to end up reordering using Moonpig to be honest as the picture quality is just so poor - really disappointed: lovely designs but poorly executed.

Beautiful cover, very good quality however very disappointed that the daily planner only provides 4 months of daily planning. Quite expensive to replace after only 4 months of use unlike a yearly diary.

I was so excited to receive my planner. It was packaged beautifully, personalized correctly, and aesthetically really good. However, function is where I knock a couple of stars off. I provide something that lays flat, and this doesn’t. There is also color bleed with pen, which I don’t like seeing with my planners.

The planner came quickly and I liked that I could personalise it but the poor quality of the paper is really disappointing. It’s so thin like tracing paper you can see all the text from the other side of the page :( because of this I wouldn’t recommend

OK. But for the price I'd expect more. I like the layout of the diary, but my biro was running through to the next page. The finish of the cover is not high, quiet plastic, again I'd expect more for the money and I expect it won't look good for the whole year.

I used Papier for my wedding invitations, guest book and thank you cards. The styles they offered were great -- none of the tacky things you see on many sites -- the quality of the paper was great. However, I hit multiple hiccups in the ordering and delivery process. (1) The sample/proof arrived really beat up, (2) Making and changing edits on the website was a little glitchy, (3) I tried to use a coupon, the system wouldn't accept it and the company wouldn't honor it the following day, (4) the invitations arrived with only 100 of the 150 I purchased! Throughout the process, the customer service staff was helpful and responded relatively quickly. They're a great stationary company but need some work to become a quality fulfillment company.

I bought a hardcover bullet journal from Papier at the beginning of the year and am using it for this academic year starting this past June. I have been using bullet journals as my yearly agendas for about 5 years now and have used multiple leuctturm notebooks and an Ottergami notebook previously (both of which were top tier quality). I will, for my purposes, I will not be using a Papier journal again next year. The pages are noticeably thinner/see through and the hardcover is not necessarily built to withstand the backpack of a university student -- the corners of mine have been showing wear and deteriorating since probably a month or 2 into consistent use. That said, I do plan to keep using this bullet journal throughout the rest of the year, as it does the job well enough (which is saying something coming from a picky bullet journaler). I will say, I still love this website! Customer service, shipping, packaging, selection -- all incredible. Everything is so cute, and the products are great for both gifts and maybe other types of personal notebooks. Simply for my specific purposes, there are better quality/worth journals that will not physically wear down on you within even a year of use. (So I based my rating specifically according to bullet journal use comparisons)
