It didn't go well because I paid for and ordered a palletisation on collection. A first collection arrived without a pallett. This for an extremely heavy item, which was on a domestic trolly. The courier attempted to take the package, pulling it on the lorry still on the trolly- but when it was in the lorry discovered there was no means to fix the parcel to prevent it sliding about!. We took the parcel off again, after which the trolly was petty well wrecked, mainly due to mishandling and being in a hurry! another collection was arranged which went smoothly - as it should have done originally if only the paperwork had been read thoroughly. Pretty stressful, and when I asked if i could be compensated was told as my trolly was not their property I should claim on my house insurance. cheek! I won't be a customer again.

Firstly, it seems there was some confusion regarding the weight of your item. For future reference, while we can handle heavier pallets, we ask that individual parts don't exceed 25kg when booking a pallet and wrap service, which may have contributed to the issues you encountered. We also apologise that the driver didn't arrive with a pallet and wrap as expected. In some cases, drivers wrap items back at the depot, which is noted during the booking process, but we understand how this could have caused additional frustration. I'll be reaching out to you personally to find a resolution, as we don't want this to be your lasting impression of us. Your satisfaction is important, and we hope we can make things right. Thank you again for your patience, and we hope to improve your experience moving forward.

Cant fault anything - the booking site is clear and efficient - the pickup / delivery service is prompt and fast with great tracking . Also very good value .

I bboked to collect before 3pm, and i was even told an ETA, but at the end of the day dhe driver didn't arived, the next day i was given an ETA between 1-2pm, but the driver arived 2:45pm.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback, and I sincerely apologise for the delay in collecting your goods. I have reviewed our communications with you, and I can confirm that our team kept in touch throughout the process. However, I would like to explain the situation in more detail. The driver had to navigate rural areas to reach your collection point. During the week of your booking, the depot took over this region for the network, and this was their first time covering such an extensive distance. Unfortunately, due to the driver's travel time, he reached the legal driving limit and was required by law to take a break, which caused the collection to be delayed until 3:45pm. Additionally, the network’s rules for this area changed when the depot assumed responsibility, and we mistakenly offered a pre-3pm collection despite your location being over three hours from the depot. We apologise for this oversight and have since updated our website to reflect the correct service levels for this area. We did do our very best to try and meet the service time offered regardless of the rules here. You also requested a small vehicle with a tail-lift for an early collection in a remote region, which further limited the depot’s fleet availability. While we strive to meet all service expectations, the combination of these factors made it difficult to fulfill the pre-3pm collection on this occasion, especially with the changed rules in place. We have removed the early collection option for this area, and I can see that we have refunded the charge for the pre-3pm service. As a gesture of goodwill, I will also process an additional refund to express our apologies. Thank you for choosing us, and once again, we are sorry for the issues encountered this time.

The company were extremely helpful, very reasonably priced and efficient. They arrived on time, took good care of the pallet and delivered it safely on time along with the dates they gave me for collection and delivery. I would advise anyone needing this type of service to use them.

I very carefully selected what I thought was the right size pallet for my delivery, having sought dimensions, (length, width and height) of the goods that were being transported. I also ordered pallet and wrap so that the six items, that were all the separate parts of the adjustable bed that I purchased privately through eBay, could be transported safely and securely. Unfortunately the collection driver arrived without a pallet and despite two phone conversations with your office, the goods were loaded incorrectly onto a pallet. They were laid down instead of being stood up on the proprietary transportation frame. They were also not wrapped as per my request and payment. On the day of the delivery the tracking system showed a delivery time of 11.00am-12.00pm, but it arrived at 10.00am and I was not there to receive the delivery as the address was my Mother’s house. The bed was for her. The goods were delivered in one piece, thankfully, but were covered in dust as they had not been wrapped. Subsequently I received an email from you advising that I was to be charged an additional £67 + Vat as they had used a larger pallet than the one I ordered, despite the fact that I had carefully measured the goods and the seller was on hand to advise how to load the bed correctly onto a pallet. After several emails explaining the poor service I received, you finally agreed to waive the additional charge, but I have yet to receive any compensation for the fact that my goods were not wrapped. I would consider using you again, but I would be extremely cautious. Great website and and good pre-sales service, but poor after-sales 😞

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your detailed feedback. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your recent delivery, and I want to address each of your concerns. Firstly, while we do ask for an estimated weight, it’s crucial that your goods do not exceed the standard pallet dimensions of 1.2m x 1m unless you’ve booked an oversized option. This helps ensure a smooth process for both loading and transport. I do apologise that the driver arrived without the pallet and wrap. Occasionally, depots may redirect drivers who do not have a pallet on board. They can also choose to wrap items back at the depot. While this is not ideal, it sometimes happens, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience this caused. Regarding the incorrect loading of your goods, the drivers are unable to stand items upright without proper strapping, which is not included in the pallet and wrap service. Standing the goods without straps would make them unsafe for transport. I believe we do, but I will happily discuss this with our customer service team to ensure we are clearly communicating this to our customers. Concerning the delivery time, we typically provide a 2-hour delivery window, so it should have shown 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, not just 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. I will review the system to prevent such discrepancies in the future. Please note that delivery times are estimates, and while we strive to adhere to them, sometimes deliveries may occur outside of these windows if the driver is available sooner. I understand that your goods arrived with dust because they were not fully wrapped. The wrap service is intended to secure items to the pallet, not to protect them from external elements. I will ensure that our website reflects this clarification, as we want to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. Regarding the additional charge for a larger pallet, this was requested by the depot due to the goods being laid down and exceeding the pallet width. While this charge should have technically stood based on the goods exceeding the pallet, we decided to remove it after understanding your circumstances. I apologise that it took multiple emails to resolve this, as we aim to make our processes as smooth as possible. I’m glad you found our website and pre-sales service good and I hear you that our after-sales service did not meet your expectations. We take pride in our after-sales care, with over 85% of our business coming from repeat customers, and we’re committed to ensuring a better experience for you in the future.
