Owner Mark Kent has zero respect for customer. He wouldn't listen and talked over me and was very rude and inpatient. Indra filter 400 stopped working after 4 weeks he said it was the plumbers fault without listening to what I was saying. He referred to my plumber using swear words telling me he 'ballsed it up', despite me trying to explain my plumber was very good and had installed per guidance. I was very polite and didn't even ask for full refund, which I'm entitled to under consumer rights and one year warranty, I asked for a discount on a new one. He told me to send an email to info @ osmio, to ask for a discount, saying he had nothing to do with this and could’nt make these decisions. He knew I had already sent various emails to this email in the past 2 weeks which he had received, and I had spoken previously to him about the matter the week before. He told me the generic email, info@ osmio, is the only way 'operations' would receive my discount request as he had nothing to do with these decisions. He basically told me to write to the general email to fob me off, knowing I had already sent various emails to this address over past 2 weeks clearly stating the problem. He then admitted he was the managing director, when i asked if I could speak to a manager, and hung up on me, after asking sarcastically 'is there anything else I can help you with?', (after being rude, unhelpful and not offering any solution). This was my second conversation with him today after 2 weeks ago when he was also rude and talked over me completely. He practically snapped my head off and I was completely polite to him. He would not admit that his equipment may be defective or damaged. It was installed correctly by a plumber who installed them before. He then refused to speak to me when I called back. He was very over bearing and rude and talked over me through the whole conversation. A very unpleasant man. I am now left 260 pounds down with a faulty casing unit that lasted 4 wks. The filtered water was very unpleasant too. Im very upset with whole experience. I would run a mile from this company. If you have a problem with anything the owner he will just talk over you, not admit any fault and if you disagree you will get hung up on. When I tried to call back he refused to speak to me and sent an email straightaway saying he will not offer me any discount. This was straight after he told me he couldn't make these decisions. Save yourself the bother and money. I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him. Never dealt with such a rude and dishonest tradesman, maybe he's this rude to all women as I see the review below is also a woman he was vile too. The products also appear to be sub par, and your screwed if you think their tech team will help as you usually get through to this unpleasant man.

No issues with the product but Mark Kent is the least customer-centric and rudest owner/founder of a company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with!! I called the tech team with a simple question to do with the fairly complicated process of early descaling my Osmio Zero as a result being in a hard water area, and unfortunately he answered. Bearing in mind I’ve only had to descale once before so it’s not yet intuitive. He was impatient, patronising and downright rude, including telling me that I was the only person not to understand the video instructions and that I had it wrong. Well, when he looked at the section of video I was referring to he realised that HE had it wrong!! No apology, no acknowledgment, just more rudeness. It’s a shame as everyone else I’ve dealt with in his company has been the polar opposite. Polite, patient, helpful, kind. It’s no wonder he is losing staff. Had I known what an asshole owned this company I would never have invested over £500 in it and would’ve looked elsewhere for a reverse osmosis water filter machine.

You never sent me the gasket filters that go into the first pod. The first one your water enters. Now alls I have is the ones you sent me floating free inside it’s pod, not happy at all

The machine is prone to regular failures and I'm disappointed the company Osmio Water does not accept the warranty of the product due to hard water. Simply unnacceptable. For the cost it is not worth it. Never again.

Hello Mr. Kent, the order of the two UV glass tubes with a closed side has arrived very well packaged. But these tubes are way too long and I can't use them. Despite my clear description of my glass tubes with detailed photos and size units, your team has not succeeded in delivering the correct tubes to date. Worse yet, despite my communication with your team, I'm getting no response. My investment is worthless and in the meantime I cannot repair my UV water installation. So deeply disappointed in all aspects. Order No. 1000088142.

Only 6 of the 7 pieces arrived. I wrote immediately upon their receipt last Wednesday (it's now Monday) and have had no response regarding the issue. How will Osmio rectify this issue?

The battery on the genesis is not good, and only last strongly for a week or so , then it goes so week its ridiculous, the bottle is not worth £180 , and the customer service is so unhelpful , its pointless talking to them .

The didtiller that Osmio sells is cheap Chinese product which can be found under various brands around Europe for similar or lower price. The glass bottle broke when trying to remove the cap. There is only one filter for the disttiler. Instructions are blur small and difficult to understand.

About 3 months ago I was looking for a convenient way to improve the quality of our tab water for drinking. After doing my research I decided to go with the Osmio Zero, as it seemed to have the best and most convenient concept (a 4-stage countertop filter including reverse osmosis with a big water reservoir). When the machine arrived I was very excited, as we were trying to move away from buying bottled water/improving the nasty South London tab water for quite a while. First point to note is that Osmio seems committed to protecting the environment, given that there is no unnecessary packaging. The machine also didn’t come with a big manual but a one-pager with instructions and a QR-link to the PDF manual. This is how devices should be packaged in 2022! But this is where my excitement for the Osmio Zero stopped. Inspecting the device, I noticed that the build felt a little bit cheap. Moving parts like the lid and the comtrol wheel are quite flimsy and don’t give the impression of a premium product. This could be overlooked if the machine would produce acceptable drinking water. However, herein lies the big problem I have with the Osmio. The water it produces has a very strong distinct taste, which me and my girlfriend would describe as chemical/pastic-like. Concerned about the integrity of the machine, I contacted Osmio’s customer service, who told me that the distinct taste was normal and that my tastebuds simply needed some time to adjust. We decided to give it a try, despite our dislike of the taste, hoping that it would go away once the system was in use for a while. But this didn’t happen nor did our tastebuds “adjust”. That said, we offered a glass to everyone visiting to see their reaction, which was always the same; “the water tastes like chemicals”. After 2 months of trying to adjust to the taste we gave up and decided to return the machine. We began the return process by emptying and draining each module, as per the instructions given by the customer service, and sent it back in its original packaging. To our discontent we were told, that not only did we have to pay the £15.45 for the return shipment but that Osmio would also deduct £57.50 for the used filters from the refund. So in summation we paid £72.95 for 2 months of bad tasting water and a terrible customer experience. To everyone considering buying an Osmio Zero we strongly recommend to taste the water it produces before buying or looking for alternative products.

I put the new filters in the machine worked for a very short time then the machine blow up so now I have new filters and ones i just put in but no machine that works a waste of over £400 as the machine now doesn’t work and I have a spare set of filters that I now don’t need so do I send the machine back and say I only had it 4 months before it blows itself up on the inside so seems cheaply made machine too me and so probably not worth replacing

Rubbish! Manufacturers can stick up there's. I spent so much money. After few months doesn't work anymore. I've tried everything, water is leaking. Damn you all. I curse that money you took from me!

Useless products, customer service is a joke and blames absolutely everything on hard water. Unfortunately I am stuck with them for now as I’ve invested a lot of money and bought a 5 year warranty! I would avoid this company like the plague.

The delivery was really quick but the machine failed to work initially. I don’t live near my Mum so my son went over to set it up. This is when we found out that it wasn’t working. I contacted yourselves and was asked to send a video of the machine not working. So my son had to go back again. We sent the video showing that there was power to the machine. I was then sent a you tube link on how to take the front panel off and check the connection. So I drove 22 miles to my mothers house to check this for her as she is 84 years old. After doing this it started working. I then drove another 22 miles home. A lot of hassle for an expensive machine. She was really disappointed and so was I as we were thrilled with our machine and having finally convinced her to get one felt awful that it wasn’t working

I ordered a few bottles some time ago for family members. One of them didnt receive the 2nd lid to attach the cannula. I advise that you always check the packet on receipt. I now paid 2 lots of about £5 each for extra postage plus cost of parts which shouldnt have been necessary.

When the filter installed, then leak started. The custom service assumed I did not follow the manual. Here it is ---Did you grease the o ring, did you follow the manual? Normallg when I see this I know you did not read the manual!! Finally I retuned the filter to them, they have to remove the bottom washer to stop leaking problem. It is faulty products. I can not get my refund. Very pool quality products and very bad service. Avoid them!!

Terrible! Sold me a product which leaked. Refused to accept it could be faulty, instead assumed it must be my fault. Spoke to me in a patronising way, and refused to exchange it! Steer well clear!
