Very poor quality, even for an office receptions

As the weather has been extremely hot as of late, and we have been stuck at home i decided to invest in a decent parasol base rather than the bricks i have been using. I found one online from Office supermarket, for £40 with "free next day delivery".....that was on the 9th of May. Today is the 23rd of May, and i have not received the item. I sent 2 emails to the company, which were ignored outright, so then eventually managed to get through by phone. I was told someone would call me back. Eventually i did receive an email from a man named Sean, who apologised and told me the item had been dispatched that day and would be with me in 1- 2 days (not sure what happened to free next day delivery, but hey ho!). That was FOUR days ago, and still not recieved the parasol base. I honestly wish I'd just gone to B&Q.

Terrible, ordered purely based off of "next day working day delivery", almost a week later, 3 phonecalls and 3 false promises - still no desk. I have been promissed that it will arrive on Monday - we will wait and see! definately would not use again!

My experience with OfficeSupermarket has been nothing short of infuriating. They sent me a faulty chair, which I only discovered after assembling it a few days post-delivery. When I reached out to their support team to explain that I didn’t have the time or energy to disassemble and repackage the chair for return, I expected a degree of understanding and assistance. Instead, I was met with complete rigidity and a blatant disregard for my situation. They robotically insisted on their terms and conditions, demanding that I repack the chair as it was, regardless of the inconvenience to me. I asked for a simple replacement or refund, but the advisor, Zanteta, displayed an appalling lack of empathy and professionalism, outright ignoring my requests. It’s as if customer satisfaction is the least of their concerns. This was my first purchase from OfficeSupermarket, and it has left me full of regret. It’s outrageous that I am being penalized for receiving a defective product that wasn’t my fault in the first place. I will never shop with them again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this platform. Save yourself the stress and disappointment! Order number: OSM37283

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear of your experience. Having looked into this, I can see that we offered to replace the chair, however our couriers would not collect any items that are not boxed. However, you could use the box that the new chair arrives in, to place the faulty chair in. We could then arrange collection. It appears that you did not respond to our offer to send out a replacement chair. Please let us know if you would still like a replacement, and we can get this delivered next working day.

Very impressed with this company from the very beginning, when I ordered, I wanted it delivered the next day but I was quite late in ordering. it arrived at 9:30 in the morning. The only problem was there was a dent in one of the drawers, but I phoned them straight away And they replaced it no hassle at all. I was able to keep the other one until the new one arrives so I could continue doing what I wanted to do over the long weekend. Well done to all involved. .

Chair arrived damaged, but Office Supermarket collected it immediately and supplied a replacement Excellent all round

The two-drawer filing cabinet arrived on time and in good condition when unpacked. However, the loose parts to be fitted had come adrift from the tape used to secure them, which left me an extremely difficult task of extracting them without completely dismantling the drawers. This was eventually achieved by tipping the unit on its side and clawing the parts to a point where I could get my hand/arm in to retrieve them. It rather spoilt the arrival of the unit, although it is now in a usable condition.

The desks and pedestals are very nice. Easy to assemble with clear instructions. My only negative comment is that I received an email from Cyrus TMS which made no reference to Office Supermarket and I assumed it was spam so it was a surprise when the delivery was the next day and no one was in the office as we did not expect such a quick delivery.

This is the first time I’ve used office supermarket and would definitely recommend them. Quality of the furniture is excellent and it’s really easy to put together. I had some questions regarding measurements which were answered over the phone. I didn’t have to queue and the phone lines weren’t automated. Makes a nice change to actually have a person answer! They were also the cheapest and offered lots of choice. Quick delivery too considering I bought during lockdown.

Website states next day delivery and actually details exactly how long you have to purchase to receive following day . Item was delivered 5 days later . Not great when you are depending on something arriving when it states . Called company several times who had every excuse under the sun rather than say they were wrong to advertise a delivery time they could not provide.

The office chair was well described on the website, and delivered in good condition within 4 days, acceptable during the Covid-19 lockdown. However, despite being advised by email that I would be informed when the item was dispatched, no such message was received.
