My experience with OfficeSupermarket has been nothing short of infuriating. They sent me a faulty chair, which I only discovered after assembling it a few days post-delivery. When I reached out to their support team to explain that I didn’t have the time or energy to disassemble and repackage the chair for return, I expected a degree of understanding and assistance. Instead, I was met with complete rigidity and a blatant disregard for my situation. They robotically insisted on their terms and conditions, demanding that I repack the chair as it was, regardless of the inconvenience to me. I asked for a simple replacement or refund, but the advisor, Zanteta, displayed an appalling lack of empathy and professionalism, outright ignoring my requests. It’s as if customer satisfaction is the least of their concerns. This was my first purchase from OfficeSupermarket, and it has left me full of regret. It’s outrageous that I am being penalized for receiving a defective product that wasn’t my fault in the first place. I will never shop with them again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this platform. Save yourself the stress and disappointment! Order number: OSM37283

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear of your experience. Having looked into this, I can see that we offered to replace the chair, however our couriers would not collect any items that are not boxed. However, you could use the box that the new chair arrives in, to place the faulty chair in. We could then arrange collection. It appears that you did not respond to our offer to send out a replacement chair. Please let us know if you would still like a replacement, and we can get this delivered next working day.

Payment has been taken for items I never received, neither have they responded to messaging. Will be disputing paymeny with PayPal.

Thank you for your review. I can see that the products you ordered are on a 10-15 working day lead time and this is clearly stated on the product page, and the delivery page. If you would like to cancel the order, then please let us know and we can do this for you without having to raise a dispute with PayPal

Still awaiting handles not delivered with under desk 3 drawer unit OSM31524. Unit great if it had its handles.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear that the handles are missing. We had replied to your initial email asking if you had checked the back of the unit, as sometimes the fittings pack can move in transit however we had no response. I have now requested the handles be sent out and these should be with you in the next day or so. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused by this.

Sadly disappointing. Cabinet arrived with no handles or wheels. Wheels were sent 3 days later, still waiting on handles that actually fit.

I had been conversing with the online help at Office Supermarket as I have been looking to purchase a desk. Living in Aberdeen, I am always cautious about hidden delivery costs so I asked if it was free delivery to my postcode. I was told that it was. A few weeks later (after payday) I placed my order and was then told of a delivery charge of over £200. My order value of £700 was immediately canceled and now I have to wait 5 days for the money to go into my bank before I order with another supplier that has confirmed they give free delivery to ALL UK Mainland and not just specific areas, even after I advised on my postcode. I will not be using Office Supermarket ever again. Yes, I accept the courier sets the cost, but £200 is excessive when another company can offer it for free.

Regarding delivery charges, we are transparent as possible, and list any chargeable postcodes clearly on our delivery info pages. Regarding the time taken for the money to go back to your account, unfortunately that is the banks/card providers standard advice, however this may not always take the full 5 days.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear your chair arrived damaged. After looking into this I can see that we delivered the chair on Friday, and you informed us of the damage. We responded the same day asking for images of the damage, which you then sent. We responded Monday to advise that a replacement chair was being sent out, and this should be delivered by Wednesday (today). We are sorry for the damaged chair, however we have dealt with this and resolved it within 3 days and at no point did you raise that you were not happy as to how this was dealt with. We hope you are now satisfied and will reconsider your initial review.

Thank you for your review. Having looked into this I can see that you have ordered a made to order product that is on a 6-8 week lead time. The product arrived but I can see that you have requested a change to the installation address, which has caused an additional delay. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this and can see that an install date will be confirmed this week.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear this. Having looked into the issue, I can see that the courier delivered to the incorrect property. We then offered to pick this up and redeliver however you declined this offer. We have escalated this with the courier in question and they will be speaking to the individual driver to ascertain what happened and why the delivery was made to the incorrect address. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Next day did not happen waited in all day BASED on what I was told that delivery would happen service not good and I had to find out the delivery company myself and call them after 5pm despite me calling during the day to confirm delivery was taking place very poor I am now looking for 50% back of the total cost mmmm

Despite us chasing several times and being assured of delivery within the advised time frame, this obviously did not happen. This has been escalated with the courier concerned, and apologies again for any inconvenience caused by this.

Next day desk took 10 days to arrive, email notification saying it was being shipped but was still days before it arrived. Customer services were very helpful, but the broader business is dysfunctional and not good to order from. They seem to be a reseller for stock held by some other company, and that company uses another third party for shipping, and none of the three company's IT systems seem to work or communicate, so there is no way of seeing a true status of the order. Even the email they sent to get reviews didn't work.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear about your experience. Upon checking the order I can see that the order was placed over the period between Christmas & New Year during which time we had a notice at the top of the website (on every page) advising that orders placed up until the 3rd Jan would not be processed or delivered until the 4th Jan onwards. I can however see that there was a delay with your item at the courier's hub, and this has been escalated to them to find out why this delay occurred, and more importantly why they did not notify us as soon as they were aware of the delay. I can see that the desk has now arrived and apologies again for any inconvenience caused by this.

I was dismayed that your website which charged for next day delivery did not make it clear that this was not always the case, if the item was coming direct from the manufacture. This caused some disappointment at Christmas and I have not yet had a response to my email requesting refund of the next day charge!

Thank you for your review. Over the Christmas period, our offices were closed meaning that no orders were processed, or deliveries made over this time period. We did have a notice on the top of every page that advised of this and was very clear. However, I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Ordered desk on Sunday, paid for next day delivery (expecting delivery then on Tuesday as you would). Was told on the Monday delivery would be within 3 days as national HGV shortage, ok fair enough. However a week and one day later im still waiting, as of writing this review, 8 days after ordering, I've still to receive my desk although it is due at some point today I am not holding my breath. One of the most frustrating experiences I have had purchasing something online

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear this. Having looked into your order, I can see that it was initially delayed due to delays at the courier. I can see that you then requested a change of address, which we confirmed with the courier. This then meant that the order had to be re-routed which would have added a day or so to the lead time. As per our communications with you, the courier has advised that this is due for delivery today. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Desk arrived chipped on the corner with scuffs. As this is my third attempt at ordering a desk from three manufacturers, and 2nd damaged desk, I couldn't face returning.

Ordered two cupboards and a desk, cupboards arrived along with the legs for the desk 2 days later than the next day delivery advertised and the desk top was missing. The desk top then arrived unannounced 3 days later, was damaged, when I escalated it was told it would take up to 5 days to replace it. A shame as the cupboards are excellent. Poor poor excellent.
