The Grey Owl paddle bag is for my Grandson's birthday on 1st April along with a new Grey Owl oar that his parents have bought for him. He completed an apprenticeship course at the end of last year to become an Educational Outdoor Activity Instructor with distinction. So, special treats for him. Postage was timely and my helmet was well packaged. There were a few quality control issues on the helmet but it was still completely functional and some issues are excusable for the price.

Excellent service. My only gripe would be that the website continues to advertise FREE delivery on orders over £150, yet I was charged a delivery fee.

The item I ordered was great, as was the price point on it, however I did receive an email to say it had been dispatched, but not who the carrier was etc, and I missed the first attempted delivery because of this, hence 4 stars not 5.

I would not normally write a review, however I was contacted by the company to post here. I was not entirely happy because my order was delayed - this may have been partly the fault of the courier company, however NSW chose this company and also did not help with the communications. My order was successfully placed without being prompted for a mobile number, it turns out that this is required by their couriers. I was contacted by Kevin the following day (Friday) at 12.24 to request my mobile number. I supplied this at 13.35. The next message I had was at 10.25 the following Monday, to say that the paddles had been dispatched. Bizarrely, the courier had no contact with me, either by email or the supposed vital mobile number. My order ended up being left on the doorstep and was luckily retrieved by my wife before being stolen. I was surprised that I was able to place an order missing vital information. I would have appreciated some contact on Friday afternoon to confirm that my order was still being processed. I was shocked that I had zero communication from the couriers, especially as my order had been delayed due to a lack of mobile number. Having been asked for my opinion, I hope this helps for your future customers.

Ordered Palm Meander bouyancy aid in blue with lime trim but blue & orange arrived. Turned out blue & orange is the new colour but the website had not been updated. Is a present and can't get blue & lime any more so having to keep it.

I ordered this paddle as delivery forecast indicated delivery in time to take a family member canoeing for the first tomorrow (2nd May). Unfortunately despite a text from Parcel Force stating delivery 30th April, the paddle has failed to arrive which is disappointing for us all and impacts plans for tomorrow. Obviously I cannot comment on the quality of the product at the moment. After very prompt response from Northshore we recognised that there was an error in the delivery address on the original order. Delivery supplier was notified and item delivered iaw with revised forecast. Product looks like excellent quality. Northshore were very proactive and helpful throughout the process.

Hi Kevin, Many thanks for your review. Firstly please accept my sincere apologies for the late arrival of the paddle. The only part of the process we have no control over is the delivery of the goods when they are handed to a 3rd party, we are completely relaint on them delivering them in the time frame. The paddle was posted on Tuesday on a 2 day service so should have been with you on Thursday / possibly Friday at the latest. Please contact us earlier if the goods haven't arrived or you need for a specific time and we contact the courier to chase the delivery and find out where the goods are. I will chase this up on Tuesday as its a Bank Holiday weekend and find out what's going on with the delivery and contact you. I will of course refund you the delivery charge as the goods haven't been delivered in the timeframe. Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. Best regards, Kevin

Slightly expensive perhaps but great products, speedy delivery and a user friendly website. Streets ahead of some competitors who are blaming covid-19, seemingly for their own inefficiencies and lack of business ability! Would definitely use NorthShore Watersports again.

The item I ordered was shown in stock but actually wasn't. NS watersports kindly gave me an upgrade with next day delivery. That was on Wednesday. On Friday I queried why it hadn't arrived. And it appeared it was out for delivery and then taken back to the base. No delivery until Monday. And on Sunday, I was asked for a review. So there you have it. I await delivery of a different item to that which I had ordered. Update. The paddle arrived on Monday. It's a beauty. Only loses a star because of the delivery Parcel Force was the carrier who let down North shore.

Excellent delivery service but notification of estimated delivery dates may be beneficial . The dpd delivery person provided an excellent service in their attempted delivery leaving g notes on their return and then apologising for being late. Such personalised service. I must also praise my postman who also exceeded his role in delivering the package. The products are great too. postman.

Quick delivery but ithe item was wrapped in plastic and taped with plastic. This meant it had to be cut off which was worrying and difficult as the item was a ripstop bag.

Fast delivery. Might be useful to get some advice for buying the right size for the neoprene shoes (I m in between two sizes apparently) but they should be alright.

Very prompt and personal service and with a follow up email. Straps arrived from NS direct in good order. Paddles arrived promptly but direct from the supplier, loosely packed in a light cardboard carton with inadequate padding to protect handles and blades. Container was undamaged and intact but one paddle handle had a minor chip and scratch in the varnish . Otherwise all good, thanks.

Nice quick delivery of a quality product. Only downside is that the packaging my buoyancy aid arrived in was torn open in the middle but luckily the product was not damaged.
