About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

“The price was really good. The delivery was very fast (the next day, I believe). The lights were not in the original boxes, just in envelopes, which looked suspicious at first, but the retailer explained to me that the limited edition lights (of different colours than black) were not packed in separate set boxes to allow for the choice of colour. Which is fair enough. The lights are genuine ones.”

Hi Hanna, It's great to hear you were impressed with the speedy delivery. The reason the lights are not in their original boxes is that they are from a limited edition dealer multi-pack. Normally, when buying a Moon Mizar/Alcor light set, they would be presented in individual retail packaging. However, the only colour option would be the standard black colour. These limited edition colours (red, blue, white and yellow) aren't available in individual retail boxes and the only way to get them is via the dealer multi-pack option. The limited-edition colours are presented loose in a 12-pack display box. To clear things up I have now amended the website listing to be more transparent. Please note: Only the Mizar (front light) comes in the 4 different colour options; the Alcor (rear light) is always black. Warm regards, North Bikes

“Cant fault the service. After being messed around by two other companies over a particular bike we wanted for our daughter, I called North Bikes and was promised they DID have it in stock. I ordered online and the bike arrived the very next day. All with a free lock and the basic tools for assembly included. Top marks. :-)”

“Wow what can I say one word FANTASTIC. I had gotten into a bit of a pickle with looking for a bike for my son and was finding it hard to get one delivered before his birthday. I called the number on the website got straight through, spoke to a really helpful gentleman, who even assured me that they had bikes in stock. Great so I go online order it it comes with a free hand held pump and a bike lock, bloody brilliant. From ordering the bike the same gentleman called me back to tell me I had just managed to order the last one and to inform me that they do Saturday delivery’s with no extra cost. Great service throughout the process o ordered the bike Friday afternoon it was at my address the next day Saturday before midday. Following that my partner ordered his daughter one the following day and exactly same thing happened. Very very impressed and the quality of the bikes are second to non. Thank you very much. I hope this gets passed on to the person I spoke too, he did an amazing job that day.”
