About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“I was let down by a woom supplier. They told me they had the bike in red and the day before it was meant to be shipped out to me, they told me they didn’t have it but had other colours so I contacted North bikes and sorted the problem, straight away and still managed to get here in time for my son’s birthday. Haven’t thanked them personally so if the company is reading thank you 😊”

“Great service from North bikes. Ordered at New Year and staff went to the trouble of checking directly with me about the best delivery date before or after New Year. Bike itself had been professionally checked, repacked perfectly and provided with all the tools and accessories I thought I might have to buy myself. Bought a Woom bike so not much variation in price across retailers but very pleased the high level of service from North Bikes. Highly recommended! And of course I have to mention that my youngest is extremely pleased with his new bike! Thanks.”

“Very good. Purchased a Frog bike. Site checkout good. They sent an email to advise on a small delay on shipping which was appreciated, plus a link to an online manual for the bike. Bike arrived with lengthy setup instructions, perhaps they could be better presented/refined but other than that, no qualms.”

“Fantastic service, we visited first to try sizes of different bikes, nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful. Ordered the bike we wanted online. We choose to have it built up and collect in person. Received a phone call to discuss when we wanted to collect. All in all I would certainly recommend and use again.
