About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“The bike look and are good quality but the only down full is the pedals I had no makings on them for left and right and they were very stiff to put on made you feel it was crossed, but it wasn’t as I know the left and right ratio of the bike a lot of people don’t can you please make the pedals and also the arm it would make it a lot easier and clearer for people that don’t know”

Regarding the pedals, if they do not have 'L' and 'R' stickers on them to identify left and right, another identifier is the 'WL' (left pedal) and 'WR' (right pedal) letter stamps that are etched into the end of the metal thread on each pedal. “The only place to by a quality kids bike! I rang around several WOOM stockists as I knew I wanted a woon4 explore (amazing quality bike) and most shops offered no reason to by from them but North Bikes included some great accessories (front/rear lights, mini pump and bell) the bike was perfect packed and easy to assemble. 100% recommend over The little bike company!”
