About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“North Bikes have been absolutely fantastic. We ordered a Frog bike from them, the order shipped very quickly and delivery was easily tracked via the Shop app. Once it arrived it was packaged well, and not only that there was a goody bag inside with a free pump, hex tool and a blo*dy good spanner as well. We'll be in the market for another Frog in a year or so and we'll definitely be coming back.”

Although the company doesn’t ship to Northern Ireland he worked with me and gave me help and advice for me to arrange to have the last spotty frog in the country collected and brought to me.. “We bought a bike for my daughter for christmas, Niorth Bikes offered a discount and good reviews which is why we chose them. Bike came within 2 days of ordering. We had an issue with the handle bars not being able to tighten fully once assembly was completed. David took my call, diagnosed the problem over the phone and sent out the tool needed in the post the same day which i receved the next day. This was amazing customer service, thank you to all at North Bikes. I would reccomend to all wanting to buy quality bikes.”

“I've ordered Squish 24'' bike for my 8yo daughter right after Christmas day and the bike arrived before New Year. I was very surprised by such a swift turnaround. Bike arrived in a good condition with checklist from North Bikes enclosed. It even came with 2 complementary bike lights. The bike itself is great. Very light. It it is lighter than my daughters previous Frog 18. She is happy, I am happy. Thanks North Bikes”

Not only was it reasonably priced compared to most other shops but it's come with everything we could have needed. “Phoned to enquire about a bike for my little girl. The person that took the phone call was so helpful discussing which size of bike they would recommend ect. I purchased a 14” molli bike and helmet. Order was dispatched the day after ordering and delivery was quick. I couldn’t believe it so close to Christmas. Can’t wait to see my daughters face on Christmas Day. Thanks again”
