About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

“I’m really impressed. Communication was excellent. The pre-delivery checks all resulted in us getting really well packaged bikes with nothing missing and no issues. The instructions were good and enabled me to put the bikes together easily in time for my twins’ birthday. They were both over the moon with their new bikes.”

“Excellent, very pleased with service from North Bikes. David was very helpful pre-sale, the bike was dispatched very quickly and we were even offered a Saturday delivery if we needed it the next day. After delivery David was equally helpful in guiding me to set the bike up and phoned me to give me advice when I was struggling on a few of the parts. Would not hesitate to recommend North Bikes, thank you for your help, we have a very happy six year old!”

“bought my second bike from them this year. great service, they take the time to explain things over the phone, never felt rushed / pressured to buy. generally the lowest prices online, speedy delivery with frequent updates.don't usually bother to write reviews, but small things like their attention to detail stand out for me. I bought a 'b' stock bike to save an additional amount on an already low price and this was a really good deal. the minor imperfections that were outlined are barely noticeable at even when pointed, but they way they explained it over the phone really gave me confidence to buy. i'd definitely buy again, even if the price was a bit higher.”

“We bought a Frog 40 for our preschooler. Fantastic and personal service, lovely little touches like including an allen key for easy assembly, and a personal note email that it had been dispatched (not a robot etc). 10/10 would recommend.. will be returning when we need to get the next size up!”
