About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

He then made sure that the item would arrive on time, as I needed it for a specific event. The product arrived on time and well packaged. Fantastic service. “Good retailer, bike I ordered for my daughter arrived on time and safely delivered. I contacted North Bikes after it arrived as the bike I ordered was a different shade of pink. North bikes apologised and explained that someone probably should have contacted me with information saying the colour ordered was discontinued. I ordered a woom 4. Daughter loves it even though it’s not hot pink! 🤣 as a keen cyclist myself I am impressed by this little bike it’s light and easy to handle. Makes upgrading to a bigger bike less daunting. North offered one of accessories for free due to the colour change. I didn’t take them up on it though as my daughter and I are chuffed with this bike!”

“Very nice and rather light bicycles which will certainly be loved. However, I am disappointed by North Bikes services. There wasn't even a description of how to put the bikes together. It was extremely difficult to put them together without a manual and there wasn't a video on their website of how to put the wheels on. Furthermore, one box didn't have the same amount of screws/tools and it was lengthy and confusing. At least a sheet with images would have helped enormously.”

Hi Etta, I'm sorry to hear that you found the experience of finishing the final bit of assembly on your new bikes difficult. You should have received instruction manuals (Frog Simple Build Instruction Manual, Frog Owners Manual, Frog 38 to 44 Mudguards Manual) and a link to a video, via an email which was sent 1 hour after dispatch, showing how to do the final part of assembly. We provided tools in one of your bike boxes to assemble both bikes, and a pump in each bike box. If you contact us, we can resend these instructions if you didn't receive them the first time.
