About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“Stay away from this company spend your hard earnt cash somewhere else This company don’t give a damn about customers who have issues my order never arrived there yes there courier Royal Mail state it’s delivered i have not received item company informed states we will stand by this so customer wrong Royal Mail right now customer is on the wrong so my advice stay well clear of this company is go as far as saying it’s a scam I asked for the evidence and nothing sent received or any help offered”

Hi Steven, Are you sure you are reviewing the right company? We are North Bikes https://www.northbikes.co.uk The reason I ask is because I've looked everywhere on our system and cannot find any orders matching your name or email address. Also, we do not use Royal Mail for any of our deliveries. We only use APC Overnight (for bikes) and EVRI (for accessories). Regards, North Bikes

“Excellent service from North Bikes. Bought a Woom 3 in April 2025, after having bought a Woom 2 in May 2024 (which my son grew out of). Both times delivery was great, and item arrived in perfect condition and as described. Delivery of the second bike took a bit more than expected due to Easter backlog at the delivery company. North Bikes followed up my query immediately when I flagged that the delivery had been postponed a couple days in a row. The bike was delivered immediately after.”

“Excellent experience of buying a bike for my grandson from North Bikes. The details on the website were very good which enabled me to choose a bike suited to his size. The bike was despatched in the time stated and we collect it from the depot rather than wait in for the delivery. It was in perfect condition and my grandson is delighted with it..”

“The bike was exactly as advertised and at a great price. However, I also received a couple of emails from David at North Bikes giving me some background to the bike's UK-based manufacture, and a selection of pdfs and links to videos should I have any trouble with assembly or the installation of accessiories. Thanks to all of this, I didn't. This felt like proper, old-school customer service. Highly recommended.”
