About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

“Thank you North Bikes for the lovely Bike for my granddaughter, she is over the moon with it, ordered it late Thursday afternoon said next day delivery but I didn’t expect it on Friday as it was a late order, but did expect it Saturday for the little girls birthday on Sunday, phoned the delivery no answer, and it arrived on the Monday that was disappointing, but the bike is lovely thinking how expensive they are in the shops compared to what I paid.”

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the speed of the delivery service. We dispatched your order as quickly as possible on APC's 'Next Working Day' delivery service. Unfortunately, APC only deliver Mondays to Fridays for large cartons such as the type your bike came in. I hope your granddaughter gets lots of enjoyment from her new bike. Kind regards, North Bikes

“Great price and quick delivery. Unfortunately one fork was slightly bent but no damage the boxing, so assume this happened in the Raleigh factory and not the fault of North Bikes”

“Excellent delivery and granddaughter really pleased with the bike. Just the right size and easy to adjust to suit her measurements. One thing I would suggest is to make sure your printed instructions actually match to the bike supplied as these were the ones found on top of al the packaging. Fortunately I found Raleigh’s instruction right at the bottom of the packing but these were not needed as I am familiar with bikes and their setup.”

“I ordered a bike for my daughter, it was dispatched and delivered within 2 days. North bikes sent a good quality spanner (Silverline) and 2 Allen Keys for final assembly of the bike. The service from North Bikes was amazing, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. They went above and beyond to make my experience shopping with them awesome!”

“We brought a bike from North Bikes that felt like a bit of a risk. There are very few reviews of this bike around and we were worried we’d made a bad choice. It arrived flat packed and no matter how much we adjusted it we couldn’t get the brakes to work properly. North Bikes were great at dealing with the situation. The offered us either a full refund for the bike or to refund the cost of having the brakes fixed locally. We went for the second option and are more than happy with our choice of bike and the company we brought from. The bike was also available at a variety of different companies, but North Bikes worked out the best value due to the free delivery. Would really recommend.”
