About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“The only place to by a quality kids bike! I rang around several WOOM stockists as I knew I wanted a woon4 explore (amazing quality bike) and most shops offered no reason to by from them but North Bikes included some great accessories (front/rear lights, mini pump and bell) the bike was perfect packed and easy to assemble. 100% recommend over The little bike company!”

“Bike turned up on time and in good condition. It was nice that the essential tools were supplied and were of a better quality than most "free tools". Cheaper than elsewhere. The couriered require someone to be in which meant a redelivery was required, but understandable given the cost of the bike.”

“Excellent service from North Bikes. Bought a Woom 3 in April 2025, after having bought a Woom 2 in May 2024 (which my son grew out of). Both times delivery was great, and item arrived in perfect condition and as described. Delivery of the second bike took a bit more than expected due to Easter backlog at the delivery company. North Bikes followed up my query immediately when I flagged that the delivery had been postponed a couple days in a row. The bike was delivered immediately after.”
