“From my initial inquiry to installation was 14 days which was extremely, beneficial to our situation. At the initial visit Richard was really helpful. He listened to what we needed and then explained how that would be feasable on site giving us much information on what was available.

“We have a narrow staircase with a 180 deg turn. A full and detailed survey showed the stair lift could be fitted. After a short while to make up the rail the stair lift was efficiently and courteously fitted by Kieren, with assistant. The whole job, start to finish was good. It looks a bit clumsy on our stairs but works well and is of great help. No problems!”

“I have to say that my experience of dealing with Norfolk Stairlifts was excellent.
My in-laws were finding it increasingly difficult to use the stairs and we decided a stairlift was the only option to keep them in their home long term. Norfolk Stairlifts sent Richard to do a survey, he was so helpful and professional. The staircase was very narrow, but he went through all the options and arranged for us all to visit their showroom to try the actual stairlift we were looking at. That visit went very well, the staff could not do enough for us and it really gave my in-laws the confidence they needed.
The lift was fitted a week later and again out sincere thanks go to Robbie who came to do the job, both for the quality of his workmanship and his kind and patient nature whilst demonstrating it.

“From the start we were well looked after. We actually stopped by the showroom and made our choice. There was no pressure. The following day Richard came to look at our stairs and was concerned that the staircase might be a little too narrow but referred it to Sam (the MD) who saw us when we again visited the showroom and his calculations satisfied him that it would work. Two weeks later it was fitted. We've had it now for two weeks and it's working beautifully. My only minor critique is that it is rather slow but I understand that it can be programmed to go a little faster so perhaps when you are in the area you could take another look for me.”

“We thought our house design prohibited the installation of a lift to upper floor. Almost in desperation we called Norfolk Stairways to ascertain feasi bility of lift (no) or chairlift (yes). Two days later we visited their showroom at Hingham where body measurements were taken, options explained and chair demonstrated. Decision made, engineer called following day to take installation details. Almost exactly a month later, our bespoke chairlift was installed with minimum disruption or mess. “Richard impressed both of us when we first visited Hingham so we asked him to survey a property in Norwich that we were hoping to purchase.
We were unable to buy the Norwich property due to 'Grenfell tower' legislation problems and we ended up buying in Wroxham. Richard again impressed us with his survey and recomendations.
The subsequent installation was carried out as we had come to expect with care and full explanation of how to opperate the two stair lifts.
We could not have purchased a 3 story property without stair lifts as Nigel has very damaged lungs and the effort of climbing a set of stairs causes rapid exhaustion and coughing. The bonus is that Ann is also using both stair lifts as she is having difficulty with the effort needed to climb stairs.
We now have a brillient property , waterside on the Bure at Wroxham with its own mooring and no boat - we had a boat on the Broads for over 30 years - paying for a mooring, thats life!

However,when trying it out while your team were here,I noticed and drew the team member's attention to a clunk which sounded on the second turn at the bottom of the run when ascending.He dismissed this of no importance. He may be right,but it has not disappeared. I will inform you if it gets any worse,but it is mildly irritating and I would be grateful if when an engineer is in this area he could give us a ring to come and look at it and correct it.”
