Regarding the speed of the lift, many customers do find it slower than expected at first. This is a standard safety feature set by the manufacturer and is specific to the model, so unfortunately it isn’t something we are able to adjust.
The same applies to the footrest. It is manufactured to a standard size to comply with safety regulations and to ensure the stairlift can be fitted safely and correctly on your staircase. While components such as seat posts and pads can often be adjusted or changed to suit different users, the footrest is supplied by the manufacturer in a fixed size, and we are unable to modify it.

“The service was prompt,friendly and efficient and I am very pleased with the lift.
However,when trying it out while your team were here,I noticed and drew the team member's attention to a clunk which sounded on the second turn at the bottom of the run when ascending.He dismissed this of no importance. He may be right,but it has not disappeared. I will inform you if it gets any worse,but it is mildly irritating and I would be grateful if when an engineer is in this area he could give us a ring to come and look at it and correct it.”
