“I don't have a local skate shop, the nearest one to me is a bit of a pain to get to so I tend to have to shop online. I ordered a deck at lunchtime on a Thursday and a courier had it to me the next night at 6pm. Chucking a copy of Grey magazine In there was a nice touch. So pleased I went back and ordered wheels. Brilliant service and great tracking of parcels”

“I bought a skateboard online for my son. Cost was about £160. Having not used a skateboard in anger since 1981, I realised that things have moved on somewhat. I used their 'Build your own custom Skateboard' tool and it was all pretty straightforward. I thought that £3.50 was a bargain to put the board together. Having placed my order, I gave them a ring to make sure that I hadn't picked incompatible components and they were very helpful. I ordered the skateboard on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday; that's impressive! It turned out one of the wheels had a split in it; one phone call and two days later and I had the replacement part without any quibbling. Price-wise Native Skatestore are competitive and carry a good range of boards, trucks and wheels. Perhaps my only niggle was that the deck was missing a bit of paint on one or two places but given the state of it after a week in my son's hands, it would have been petty to send it back, as it's not a museum piece. I find their website easy and intuitive to navigate; it would be improved by including some charts to help people figure out what sort of trucks suit what kind of skating style / deck width and how to match trucks with wheels and decks. I had to use other sites to find this info. I would order from Native Skatestore again. Thanks guys!”
