“I placed an order for 5 items. Two arrived with issues. One item was stained/dirty, which the company has agreed to replace. This raises concerns about quality control, as these should have been identified before dispatch.
The other does not match the images on the website. The stars are advertised (pictures show this) with muted gold thread, yet one star on the item I received is stitched in a bright orange thread, which is clearly different.
There's an identical item (only different name embroidered) in the same order, which arrived correctly with the muted gold thread, confirming that the orange stitching is inconsistent and not shown anywhere online.
Despite this clear discrepancy, they have refused to replace the item and insisted this is how it is supposed to be. The product I received was not as advertised, and the refusal to resolve the issue with just 9 days until Christmas is disappointing.”
“I have no idea about the quality of the item. I have not received it, I even paid for the fastest delivery option, it is now over 10 days since i ordered and still no sign of my item. The childs birthday, for which this item was a present, has passed and the family returned to their home in Italy. No possibility of me gettting the present to them.”
“2 faulty bags! Ordered a bag for my daughters birthday, only for one of the letters to be put on backwards and completely different colour to advertised on website, I was then told it is supposed to be like that and the customer service sent me the Font sheet of what it was supposed to look like- I was correct, it's on backwards. When realising their mistake then sent me a new bag, but the replacement had the correct lettering but missing the embellishment. So waiting to see if they will send me a correct one. Hopefully 3rd time lucky. The bag itself is nice, and delivery arrived quickly. Would be 5* if it was correct.”
“Luckily damage is on inside of the bag so not noticeable. But makes me question the quality of the item. Made in China.
Otherwise items are cute and bought in sale, would have been very expensive otherwise for what they are.”
“Would have been higher if gift was sealed in plastic. As it wasn't and I wasn't home when delivered the box was soaked through and as such the chair was soaked and took me 2 days to dry out. Disappointed as have had no issues previously”
“I have just received 2 of the build your own mini back packs in cord material for my twin granddaughters and I was disappointed. The material was creased and the name personalisation was stuck on and I was expecting it to be embroidered as I have had in past orders. I think this product is way overpriced for the quality received.”

“First order came with the personalisation on box and card squint and second order came with the personalisation missing from front of box. I had to email twice only consolation was 2 new boxes were sent out express delivery but will not order from here again.”

“Very disappointed with the quality of the hooded towel that we purchased. It's out first time purchasing from My 1st Years. We did contact the company but clearly they are happy with the quality of product that they sell. For the cost of the towel it's extremely disappointing.

“The product was lovely,but disappointed it wasn’t personalised,I had problems trying to add my grandsons name on the order ,when I pointed this out it wasn’t rectified,it seems no one checks the order the type and colour off the writing was on the order but the name wasn’t,the box and card inside was personalised .It has put me off making another purchase.”
