“My 1st experience is sadly not great, the product I bought was OK, the personalisation wasnt as good as I expected and the bag was creased. But the most disappointing thing was the crushed gift box that had been stuffed in a parcel bag and then lack of communication from the company. Such a shame as I loved the look of everything.”

“I bought a few bits from My 1st Years including some personalised baby chino mugs and a backpack. Whilst the mugs were great, the backpack was extremely disappointing. It had lots of threads loose, it was flimsy, much smaller than expected - and just an overall disappointment. For £32, there are lots of much better options. I bought the backpack to use as my son’s nursery bag; his previous one was gifted to us and has lasted over a year even with all the wear and tear that comes with it being a nursery bag (it was extremely sturdy). With the level of flimsiness of this one in mind, I very much doubt that it will withstand the wear and tear in the same way. Extremely disappointing given the high price tag.”

“The wrong product was sent out to me and they refused to send me the right one until I had, at my own cost (until I requested a prepaid label) and inconvenience, packaged back up the wrong product and they had received it back! So the thing I ordered in time for an important event never made it...
Their customer services was pretty abysmal it was as if I had sent the wrong product out to myself. I won't be rushing to order from them again which is a shame as they have some nice products.”

“Item is really nice quality and as described, but processing of the order took 5 days before it was shipped and I believe it's too long just to personalise a name on a toy. Moreover, I bought a "luxury gift bag" for this as it was meant to be a present and the toy barely fit in the bag, it was just so awkward when I handed it as it looked like I had re-cycled the bag from from something else. I would have expected the size of the gift bag would be sent based on the item purchased, not just a random one, especially considered the price I paid. Not sure I will use this shop again.”

“I’ve bought bags in the past from my 1st years but this time I was so disappointed, the bags themselves where of shein quality and the embroidery was awful, come with loose stitching mismatched font and unrecognisable letters, I did contact my first years and they have agreed to refund me and I sent the items back but £70 for two back packs was a lot to pay and unfortunately the quality was no longer there. Not sure I’ll be a returning customer”

“I’ve ordered from here over 5 times for my nephew and nieces, mainly the personalised backpacks. First time I ordered personalised dressing grown- I ordered 3 including one for my newborn as it was on sale. I can see why it was on sale , the quality was awful. Looked like stock wouldn’t move due to bad quality material. I would return if I could but had to gift the others as didn’t have time to get another gift. Really disappointed.”

“The products are great, but I find your site difficult to navigate and use. I had added a bag to my second order which didn't register at all, and now am without one for the second child and they (and their parents) will receive their presents together. Although I have received several emails about a 15% discount for a second order, I didn't receive this for my second one, nor did I see anywhere where I could cliam it. Not encouraging, I'm afraid.....”
