“Really liked the product and names embroidered very well but I ordered 2 different names for 2 different babies and only received one gift box when I had requested 2. Had to source another gift bag which didn’t look as good.”

“Always loved My 1st Years when purchasing personalised gifts. This time purchased a chair and very pleased with this item it is lovely however had seen same chair by my 1st years on not the high street personalised everything I wanted but really wanted in gift box so decided to go straight to company paid £17 more but wanted a gift box. Hadn’t noticed it said in small writing may not come in gift box very disappointed wish I had gone to not on the high street where it was very clear not gift boxed and saved money would advise people to look around as other places sell same thing and cheaper especially when they have a sale on”

“My daughters bag is absolutely adorable personalised it to make it extra special and it definitely made her day. Really lovely well made would recommend. But was slightly disappointed as I opted for gift box but unfortunately was very damaged time it got to me the bag was fine but the box had definitely seen better days.”

“I’ve shopped with my 1st years since having my daughter almost 2 years ago, the quality had always been great however recently I have found the quality to be less and the company becoming more greedy. I’ve had a couple of issues with recent orders including receiving damaged items and damaged gift boxes which although resolved after contacting customer services, appears to be a more frequent issue.
I regularly use my BLC discount however this can’t be used with my reward points which expire after a short period which is highly unfair.
hopefully they restore the original drive for customer satisfaction and quality as it really does sell some wonderful items.”

“Overall, we are happy with the personalised rocking horse we bought from My 1st Years. It was high-quality, soft. and well-built. Our only disappointment was the personalisation: (1) the personalisation was a simple vinyl material. Yes, it's stated in the ad, but we felt it wasn't great quality. (2) It was only personalised on one side. I doubt it would cost that much to add the not-so-great-quality vinyl on the other side.”

“Would have given five stars as the item we bought was lovely and much appreciated by its recipient, I also like the gift box products come with. However, it took quite a while to arrive and, most annoyingly, after I had created an account and ordered it, I received an email offering me 10% off my first order! “I have always been pleased with the quality of the products from My 1st Years - in particular, I have bought customised dressing gowns on eight occasions from 2021-2025. Unfortunately, I've recently been made aware that the personalised note added to at least three of these orders was never delivered - even though it was included in the order confirmation email - so two friends weren't aware for 6 months and 2 years who the gift was from until I mentioned it. To happen on (at least) three occasions is poor for a premium product and service. But as I say, the products are good so I continue to order, though have it delivered to me first to add my own note!”
