“Disappointed as I keep accumulating points but they cannot be used concurrently with the sale items do in effect they are wasted. More competitors on the market with nice personalised items and cheaper. My 1st years losing the edge. Boxes despatched with items are full and mostly broken. Poor customer service”

“Sent wrong bag and then I had to waste my own time sending back in order for them to issue a replacement out - so now likely the order won’t be here in time for my nieces first day of nursery. Not great service and have a quality control issue.”

“I have made a number of previous orders and been pleased with the products and quality. This time I was disappointed at the poor quality of the back pack that stank of cheap material and the stench would not go even with airing. I had it personalised with the baby’s name and asked for a new one to be sent out asap so I could have it to give as a gift in the three days remaining but they would not accommodate if I did not send the bag back first. I explained that I would be happy to handover the foul smelling bag to the courier if they could just send out a bag that didn’t stink immediately as I was out of time. The fault was with My 1st Years yet they did not want to rectify the issue.
Finally, I also ordered a personalised passport holder and luggage tag. The passport holder had the name on it but not the luggage tag. Why would the luggage tag not have the name on it if one uses it for the purpose of identifying their luggage???? Very poor experience and will never order from them again.”

We’d like to reassure you that all of our items are fully tested and safe for use by children. Occasionally, there can be a slight smell from new materials when first opened, which is normal and should fade with airing. However, we completely understand how disappointing this must have been, particularly as it was intended as a gift.
We’re also sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the personalisation and the delay in resolving this for you. Your feedback is important, and we will take this on board to improve both our products and service.
If you are not happy with the items, we would be more than happy to arrange a full refund once the products are returned. Please do get in touch with our customer service team, and they will assist you further.
