Purchased a chrome aerial base cover as I already had a chrome petrol cover and wanted to balance the two sides off. Looks very elegant and not difficult to install, surprised at how a small part makes a big difference to overall appearance of the car. Quality of the part is acceptable but a little flimsy ; main point of contention is the price which I think is too high. Would have merited 5 stars overall but for the price.

As I'm in the EU, I'd like the option to have a tracked delivery with UPS or similar. Still waiting for any form of notification from customs on my last order.... could be anywhere :-(

MX5 Parts offers a wide range of interesting MX5 products. The website is clear and products can easily be found. Prices are reasonable in comparison. But, and here comes something that MX5 Parts is not responsible for: consequences of buying in UK after Brexit. Imports Charges, and quite high too. These charges off set the reasonable price points of products. I may have to reconsider buying UK in comparison buying within EU. Sorry guys, but that is how it is. Blame good old Boris...

The range of accessories and parts is good, and many are of good quality at a reasonable price. Some of the cheaper bits, especially interior, are below standard. I recently bought a boot rack and a style bar. No instructions were included, and the latter does not appear to be for my model. They ignored my first email and later denied receiving it. Trust me, they got it. Then they responded to my second by attaching instructions for the rack, but not the bar. Pity. This type of thing is easy to fix.

Site is great but phone advice was poor. One part was out of stock and was told to keep checking site for availability to order. But you can order on the site and part is sent when in. Very poor advice and also less than enthusiastic attitude.

Ordered a battery. Which I would have expected to be delivered within a couple of days . It arrived on the 7th day after placing the order in my opinion this was not good enough .

Ordered part took a week to be delivered, despit paying £9 postage. Additional issue was that parcel was delivered to the wrong address, courier copmany at fault...

New customer and new MX5 owner. Great selection of parts on easy to navigate website. Happy with parts I ordered. 3 stars though as I ended up 3 different orders and paying postage 3 times when all were dipsched to same address. My bad I guess as placed 3 orders due to increased list of must haves and new car excitement, but when I placed 3rd order and asked you via email to bundle and refund postage was simply told sorry can't do that due to ordering separately. Maybe consider customers first, I mean you could offer a 10% discount or voucher for next order.

Would be 5 stars apart from having to pay delivery on each individual item, whilst all are posted in one package. Feels like sharp practice.

I have bought parts from MX5parts over the years. I don’t normally fault them. For my most recent purchase, importing a radiator from UK to France, I have had a rotten time gauging the estimated delivery date which no person or app was able to provide accurately (MX5parts, their chosen logistics handlers, the postal services moving the parcel). I’m fairly sure it’s because of Brexit, there’s some delays because of new procedures. The packaging wasn’t the best, the top of the box was open on delivery, originally closed by large staples, without tape. Inside, the part was held in place with two thin polystyrene supports, no other protective wrapping. Thankfully there were no loose parts in the order.
