surpris d'être obligé a la réception de payer un montant de 24 euros de taxe, ce qui augmente la facture et viens en concurence avec des fournisseurs en france; est ce dut au brexit,?? si oui je ne commanderai plus au ROYAUME UNI; CORDIALEMENT DANIEL BAILLY

Ordering the product (a Panasonic battery) was easy and the shipment to Spain took about a week. I received multiple updates from the courier company, and the battery was finally delivered one day after the indicated date (that's OK). As expected, I did not pay UK VAT but was charged a 21% sales tax in Spain. The only surprise was that in addition to the sales tax, there was an extra Customs fee of about 20€. Buyers from the EU should be aware of these Customs charges, which I could not find in the Terms and Conditions in the MX5parts webpage. Other than that, everything was OK.

The main problem I had was identifying a part on the website which seemed a bit misleading. I got it wrong twice! The guys on the phone were great at sorting out the issue though!

The parts received are excellent. But somebody fell asleep in the warehouse. I ordered fog lights and a pair of fog light bezels. It appears that nobody realized the fog light package included the switch as the website indicated. A separate switch was sent and billed. But the fog light package was billed separately with the cost of the switch deducted. Bottom line: I received a free extra switch that I will be returning. Also, instead of receiving the fog light bezels, I received a set of four air vent bezels. Your orders department has taken care of that. Thank you. I would not hesitate to order from MX5parts again because I'm confident that such errors cannot be a regular occurrence. But it does make me wonder.

Bought rear brake pads and rotors, good value £90 and good description on the website. Shipped to Ireland paid shipping etc. Got a bill from DHL then for €53. Should have payment at checkout so no surprises.

Ok, 10/10, info and communication and technical support But too long delivery time, despite the fact that the shipment leaves your facilities immediately. Suggestion: explore other means of shipping that are much faster in delivery. This is the reason for my rating. Reception time. Everything else ok..

It is unbelievable, that the people over there in England voted for 23£ customs duty, so a 35£ product will cost you 58£ (!) end of the day. I am not happy - not one bit.

I can only assume MX5parts business like many others is being adversely affected by Royal Mail Industrial action. My order was recorded as despatched on 30 November 2022 using 1st class mail but it still hasn't been received by the 10th of December. Only wish an alternative courier could have been used. A lot of business will be lost to Amazon which has very clearly sorted distribution issues.

I bought a part from MX5parts but had a few issues and emailing the company I was met with a very passive aggressive person who took nothing that I said on board and made me feel awful. Not a pleasant experience

We have reviewed the correspondence that was sent and we would like to reassure you we weren't trying to pass the buck to blame Royal Mail as to why your order didn't arrive until Wednesday after ordering it on Saturday. Howeverm, we unfortunately don't have a Royal Mail collection at the weekend, therefore it was collected at the earliest opportunity on the Monday, and unfortunately the strike on Tuesday meant your order didn't arrive until Wednesday.
