I have to say, I was a little disappointed with what arrived. Let me clarify that. The outer packaging was good. When I opened the parcel, the boxes looked like they contained very cheap items and because I had ordered personalised items, they had been undone. However, this had ripped the boxes slightly, making it looked used and the sticky labels which keep the boxes closed was no longer sticky. The items themselves are lovely , the engraving accurate. All in all, I am happy but will give these to my God daughter not in the boxes.

In order to personalise items we do have to open the product boxes - but we do always try to repackage them as neatly as possible. The weather station looks disappointingly small sized in reality compared with the publicity. It was advertised as being suitable for a 8/9 year old but I think the recipient will be disappointed when he sees the actual age suggested on the box.

The item dimentions are shown on our website (on the product page where you ordered) but we're sorry if it appears smaller than you imagined. With regards the age recommendation for this item, we feel our recommended 8+ is suitable because of the level of science and meteorology involved and required to fully benefit from the set. Many children under 8 will not necessary fully understand the concepts involved, but of course if your child is advanced for their age then it may be a younger child would find it enjoyable. As always a good choice of products at a reasonable price. I had ordered two family games as Christmas gifts. One of the games' boxes was too long for the packaging box and was left sticking out of the top of it. Luckily it wasn't damaged.

I was disappointed with the size of the lettering on the pencil cases I ordered. I haven't returned them as I haven't time to buy anything else. You have got some interesting things in the catalogue. Delivery was vey quick.

Dear Customer, thanks for your review - sorry to hear you were disappointed with the pencil case lettering. The lettering on these items is small, but it is exactly as pictured on it's product page on our website. Some people like it like this which is why these continue to sell well but other customers prefer larger lettering, which in part is the reason we also sell the embroidered jumbo pencil case (which has larger lettering). Unfortunately the child’s microscope had obviously been opened. The internal packaging was taped together and the box outside was bashed. Having said that the actual microscope appeared to be okay and due to timings decided to keep.

I ordered named Chunky Triangular coloring pencils for my grandson, Elliot. I was very disappointed that only his name was written on the crayons and not" Elliot's pencils "as shown in the brochure. The instructions were not clear. Very disappointing. Really sorry to have to write a poor comment. I was so looking forward to giving these to him.

In terms of delivery timescales, we advertise where you ordered on our website to allow 14 days for delivery for these particular personalised items - this is because they are bespoke, hand-printed to order. Your order actually arrived with you quicker than that, in 10 days. For most items our delivery timescales are considerably faster but with personalised items we advise on our website to allow longer. We apologise however that you were disappointed and we continue to work with our supplier artists and craftsmen & women to speed up delivery timescales for personalised items. It is good quality and you can make many different things. But all the connections are really stiff, so an adult has to make it ( mainly) . I am hoping it will get looser with use. But disappointing that my son can not do this by himself.

Arrived promptly but disappointed with the quality of the printing as some letters were incomplete. However, I was quickly offered a 50% refund as they were unable to offer a replacement in time for Christmas so happy with customer service

I’m sure my chosen items will make wonderful gifts but unfortunately I haven’t received them yet. Due a week ago and granted there has been a postal strike but orders from other companies have arrived in the interim. An update on progress would have been appreciated.
