“I ordered the letter train the pictures showed it with the train engine and one carriage but it didn’t come with that so very misleading. Had to do a second order to get the train engine and carriage and pay a second postage fee and delay the gift arrival even more. Most frustrating”

Dear Customer, thanks for your review, sorry to hear you felt mislead. We do however make it very clear that the Rail Name Train is just the letters, and that the engine and guard van are available separately. The second sentance of our product description says "Shown with our Rail Name Engine (code 60223) and Guard's Van (code 60104) which are not included with the train but available separately to make up the full train.". Some customers prefer to buy just the letters and combine with an existing engine or perhaps buy a different engine for them to go with. Some customers don't want the guard's van, and some literally just want to buy the letters. Hence, this is why we sell them separately, to give our customers flexibility to buy what they want - and we do make this clear on our website. We're sorry however if you felt mislead.

“I thought the service was very good. However, one of the items I ordered - the personalised cutlery - was disappointing. The font used is so tiny you really have to look to see it. Hence only 3 stars and 5 out of 10 not 10 out of 10.”

“Personalised items take an extremely long time to arrive. If ordered for a specific occasion leave plenty of time. But the quality is good and much cheaper than other makes”

Dear Customer, thank you for your review, we are pleased you like the personalised items you've received. The two specific personalised items in your order do have a longer leadtime than most of the other personalised items in our range. Each one is made bespoke, for you and your order. This is because of the amount of work that goes into making these particular items. We advertise on our website that these particular items take two weeks, and they were delivered to you within this timeframe. Almost every other personalised item is much quicker than this, and all personalised items ordered now will still be delivered in plenty of time for Christmas. Many thanks, Mulberry Bush

Dear Customer, thanks for your reviews, sorry to hear you're disappointed with the embroidery size on your bag. You've not said whether you're disappointed that it's too big or too small, but given the name you requested was short we're wondering whether you're thinking it's too small? The short answer is that the letter sizing it as shown on our website - and is always the same, whatever the length of name. Elaborating, the name you requested was a short name of only 4 characters. We find that if we increase the typeface size for short names it can look crass, just a bit big, and does not match the product image on our website. So for that reason, for any of our embroidered items, we keep the typeface size the same regardless of the length of name. One benefit is that for customers ordering multiple bags the longer name and a shorter name on the two bags are consistant, and if you ever order another in the future that would match in too. We're sorry once again that you're disappointed, but hopefully this explains things. Thanks, Mulberry Bush

“Whilst Mulberry bush is great and most of recent purchases great I’ve marked down as one purchase over priced and much smaller and not great quality compared to the advertised product/ what I thought I was getting- can’t return as personalised”

“I was disappointed to find most of my order was made in China instead of small family company in Philippines I think it was. This was the main reason I chose your company as I can buy stuff made in China anywhere and liked the idea of helping a small business making good quality wooden toys.”

Dear Customer, sorry to hear you were disappointed. Your order was however delivered to the timeframes we promise on our website and we feel it only fair we explain this. You placed your order on a Sunday, and as we make clear in various places on our website, that means it will be despatched on the Monday for Tuesday delivery. And this is exactly what happenned. Dear Customer, sorry to hear you are disappointed. You mention in product review that the torch projector is smaller than you expected. We do show the product's dimensions on our website, as 11cm long - which is correct, and we would argue is suitable for a child's hand. The torch acts as a projector to project images on to walls, ceilings etc and is big enough and powerful enough to do this very successfully. We are sorry nevertheless that you are disappointed with this item, but hope you like the other items you've received.

“The LED Rainbow light is just what my Great Niece wanted, my only complaint which I have raised with Mulberry Bush before publishing here, is that I paid £6.99 for next day delivery and it didn't arrive until the followng day. Thye use Royal Mail which was disapppointing.”

With regards your comment about the price of the castle, the item itself is not small and does contain a fair amount of complicated components, all of which are manufactured from wood - much like a doll's house.
