Overall, we are happy with the support provided by Sara. We always got prompt responses and seemed to get a good mortgage deal, below our budget, despite the rising interest rates. We are first time buyers and negotiated a price drop on our property, unbeknown to us, this ultimately meant that we had to pay more out due to the difference in property to value monies, when we questioned this with the solicitors, we were told that Sara should of informed us of this potentially happening (although we weren’t sure if this was true or not). Finally- I would suggest that ONP solicitors is not recommended because we did not have a good experience with these solicitors on the back of Sara’s recommendation. (We appreciate we had freedom of choice although as Sara was so good, we assumed they would be the same). Luckily we got in our property before Xmas which made the experience worth it and Sara had a lot to do with the process being rushed through therefore we are very thankful!

Our broker searched market for us and came up with good products as per our need and was extremely helpful in getting the right rate and explaining the different benefits whilst showing no bias. Once handed over to the company dealing with the mortgage our service became more fragmented and the awareness as to timelines was more vague for us. Delays weren't explained by mortgage company/ law firm, and we wasted quite a long time waiting for next stage to happen in the process. The system the law firm used was clunky and the contact was not very responsive, so it might just have been good to know we needed to personally push back on the company more and that the broker was no longer going to be driving that part of the process, as we had a month delay in setting up and so it impacted our budget. This was not the broker's fault but would have been good to know that the company might need chasing earlier than we reealised, as our broker had been very active and hands-on in supporting us in the early process and our expectation going forward could have been managed accordingly. Overall very pleased with the broker's individual service.

Very pleasant on email and telephone. Not able to expand on this as we have not yet caught up face to face. This is scheduled for 14 Sept and I was contacted by another of your team who is closer to me but failed to make the initial contact. Neither of my two original named choices made any contact.
