“As a first time buyer in a worrying economic climate I was immediately put at ease talking to Sophie at mortgage first, She clearly explained my options what was likley to happen and how the process would work. All explanations of fees where immediately explained. Sophie and Amy where in continous communication through the whole application process and where amazing I genuinely don't think it would have been possible for me to navigate whilst juggling work and stress without their help and advice. I now have the keys to my first home with my wife and I can honestly say I would have felt the service we received was worth double what we paid, would highly recommend !”

We had a few little complications to get around but Daniel couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful in getting the best deal for ourselves. “I was stuck with an interest only mortgage for the last 12 years after divorce and ex husbands name couldn't be removed due to financial advisors telling me on paper I couldn't afford to remortgage , was reccomended to contact Jonathan Saint by a friend after becoming desperate and stressed by the interest rates rapidly rising and the threat of losing my home , after a very indepth email about my situation to Jonathan he reassured me he would find me a solution and arranged to come to my home at a convenient time, after discussing at length the situation I was stuck in he took all of my information and the very next day had a mortgage offer in principle! Absolutely amazed by his determination and speed to prove me wrong that he could help and he most certainly has. Within a few months and just before another interest rate rise my house is now finally my home and not under threat or stress of having to sell he really is Granthams 1 and only mortgage man and I can't thank him enough .”

“Craig made the seemingly impossible, possible for us and I cannot thank him enough. Craig went above and beyond to make sure we were matched with the best lender for our circumstances and also the cheapest. We had our agreement in principle on 7th September, Craig submitted our full application on the 12th September and we had a mortgage offer the morning of 14th September. I cannot recommend Craig or Mortgage 1st enough. The time taken to reassure us and to answer any questions or concerns we had along the way was outstanding. Thank you so much, we are so excited for this next chapter of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. A special mention to Becky also who dealt with the processing of our mortgage application. Her communication has been fantastic and everything was explained so clearly. Antonia has been on hand to answer any questions and put things into simple English so to speak and managed to get us a competitive price for both. “I would highly recommend Mortgage 1st to all. We had a really complex case to sort out remortgaging our home but one call from Craig and I was reassured that it was possible to do. Craig did an amazing job searching for options and explaing things to me, he kept me informed of where we were in the process and it was never too much trouble for me to contact him. Preet took over my account once the paperwork was submitted and was able to also keep in touch with me regularly about where we were. Any queries I had she was able to answer or chase with the appropriate person for a reply. For how much I paid to remortgage with them I really do think it was great value for money! If you are unsure about mortgages just give them a call and they are happy to outline the process to you with no obligation. “We used Joseph Alvey as our broker and we couldn't have been happier! As first time buyers we were pretty clueless and anxious but Joseph walked us through the steps, provided us with lots of information and options and took the time to explain things we didn't understand. He always responded within 24 hours and we had our DIP come through within 3 weeks and mortgage offer within 6 weeks. We couldn't have asked for anything else from him and don't have any feedback on anything he could have done better, because he was brilliant!!”
