We are currently working on a new version for Excess Insurance ( for hire cars up to 7 seats and 9 seats, Van hire , Motor home hire & Car Club for example). With changes in the market and differing features and policies on going from the insurers, we are currently reviewing our site and also looking to introduce further filters which will also help our Customers further in tailoring there policy for their specific requirements. James Robbins Thank you for your feedback, really appreciated. We are about to launch a new version of our Excess Insurance Comparison tool which will include filters for Car Hire up to 7 seats, 9 seats, Van and Motor home and this will all be achieved through just one enquiry. Within the comparison process, will also be Car Club and Minibuses up to 15 seats. At this time, we do cover all the areas above, but via a separate comparison tool / search. So we are not that far away I'm pleased to say in delivering this further enhancement.Once launched, please feel free to kindly review and your further feedback would be really appreciated. In regards to Motor Home Excess Insurance, the insurers on our site can provide an Excess Insurance Policy to cover the excess on the areas of Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (but do not provide the main insurances of Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection) and the Motor Home Excess Insurance policies also cover the areas that are not typically covered in your hire, like the windscreens, motor home glass, roof, tyres and under body. Hi and thanks for your feedback. We quite agree - and are in the midst of a full upgrade of the service. Its interesting though as we have many users, both new and returning who love the current version so we are treading very carefully (if you scroll through our 5 star review responses you will see the evidence!). The current format whilst dated appeals strongly to the majority of our users, who tend to be less tech savvy. Matthew Clark I'm very pleased to say, during the 9 years that we have been involved in Car Hire Excess Insurance we have received nothing but good feedback about the reimbursement process in regards to the Car Hire Excess Insurers on our site. Once you have provided all the information that is required to the excess insurer in regards to your claim, you are typically refunded with 7 to 10 days . One customer even phoned us to say that she received her claim monies within 3 days from completing the reimbursement process with the insurer itself !!! We will always be here for you though, before, during & after your purchase and we are just a telephone call away if you ever need us. If you do have a claim (hopefully not for obvious reasons !!!), then please feel free to pop back at anytime to post a review in regards to your experience in relation to the Car Hire Excess Company itself. Anonymous Thank you for your feedback. We currently have 17 Car Hire Excess Insurers on our site, which is a really good representation of the current UK market, for this type of policy. Many of the insurers have also discounted their Car Hire Excess Insurance policies for our site (and when purchased from our site online) and these are in many instances cheaper, than buying directly from the insurers themselves. So in summary, through just one quick enquiry via Moneymaxim, you have a really good comparable in regards to the Excess Insurers and at the most competitive prices.
